If you like real life crime stories or court drama, you need to check this out. The first episode was really interesting but it goes off the rails from there (in a good way). Crazy story. I highly recommend it.

Have you seen this documentary? You can't watch this and not have doubts. He got fucked over, spent 18 years in prison and was in line to sue the county for more money than they could pay out. Police officers were in deep shit for covering up that they knew he wasn't the rapist. Timing just seems way to convenient. Nothing backs up the cops story, except a "confession" that was clearly coerced from a 16 yr old with a 73 IQ.

They find his blood in the vehicle, but no finger prints. That's strange. Couldn't figure out how his blood was there so the defense gets a warrant to look at his evidence from the wrongful conviction.....seal is broken, contains blood vial, pin hole in top of blood vial.....Lab Corp says they would never put syringe through top of sealed vial.

I'm 6 episodes in, I believe he is innocent and it's a setup by the police to frame him, they didn't want to pay the 450k for the 18 years he spent in prison as an innocent man....Highly recommended, awesome show. Going to finish it next week when I get back in town

The 400k is what they wanted to settle with him for after he sued them for like $32M. I think they said that the nature of the lawsuit wasn't something the county's insurance policy covered, so they were going to be bankrupt.

Shady stuff by the cops put him away for 18 years before DNA evidence proved he didn't rape the woman on the beach. If he didn't murder Teresa Halbach, why would you not need him on the streets?

If I were you, I'd be scared shitless. You have a Sheriff's department that is corrupt and getting away with it. They weren't allowed to be on the Avery property for the investigation due to the conflict of interest (lawsuit) yet there they were. Guess who finds the key on the bedroom floor after searching the room for 7 days? Guess who finds the bullet in the garage months later after the initial sweep found nothing? You better hope Steven Avery is the killer.

They put this poor fucker away for 18 years. 10 years in, a detective from another department called to tell them they had a guy confessing to the crime Avery was in for......and they did nothing. When DNA evidence proved he was innocent, they were forced to release him but wouldn't admit he was innocent. Crazy.

Some shady shit for sure. Regardless if the guy is a nice person or not he's still entitled to due process and he never got it. I understand yyz's posts however as the media had a field day with him and his family. Then the DA is forced to resign for sexual harassment and drug addiction all the while they're allowed to present unconfirmed positives for edta when it's only been allowed in one case prior to this? Just some sketchy shit if you ask me.
