This should get her some friends real quick. :0003

Parents, please ask your children to use sidewalks and not cut through yards- thank you.

If I wanted kids on my lawn I would have brought some into this world to raise.

Now that you haven't taught yours to respect the work of others in the upkeep of their property I will very politely tell your children to get off my grass.

If you would like I would be glad to show you how to bust a sweat to get your weed infested "yard" to look like my lawn and "your children" can play on your lawn.

Thanks for understanding that I put the time and effort into my estate because I like for it to look awesome..

Again...I will be happy to show you how to break that sweat and show you where to buy the products for your estate to look awesome as well.

hope this helps...

I think your precious grass will be ok! Don't live in a neighborhood if you don't want kids around. :violin:

I didn't have any problem understanding to not cut through the neighbors yards when I was growing up.

Sidewalk is there for a reason..

now explain to your children that grumpy old Mike doesn't want anyone cutting across his lawn.

And because it is his property we will respect his right to request there be no playing or crossing across his lawn.

Say it aint so Old School. You're not one of those crusty old bastards that gets all bent if a kid happens to set foot on your lawn? I take pride in having a nice yard too, but come on. I live right next to a school and the kids cut through my yard sometimes walking home. As long as they're not smashing the flowers or bushes that's fine with me.

To this day I feel funny walking on someone's grass. Something our generation must have learned and learned well.

With that said
The lady I quoted is not going to make any friends posting what she said to the community.

I just checked. That lady deleted her posted, it's not there anymore. Her husband must have flipped.

Jack you must live in a sub with a common area in the back ( no fences ). I grew up with all fenced yards so it was definitively do not cut through neighbor's yards. I can see it being very tempting for a kid to use it as a short cut to the next block. But my Fathers rules were always to keep my ASS off people's lawns.
