The one with all the athletes...Vick, Urlacher, Jones, Armstrong, Johnson,Williams and AGASSI playing Baseball ?....Is this the work of digital film ? Did they actually do this for the commerical and it was cut in ? Does anyone know ?

I had this guy in front of me at 7-11 this morning use a credit card for a 79 cent cup of coffee. Then his card didn't do through for 3 or 4 tries. Very annoying.

yeah, i'm sure it was a big dipshit with a greasy, thinning mullet. Hey, how about this-when you leave the house, at least bring a f*cking dollar with you.

Well, this coast is definitely more laid back. I lived in Fort Lauderdale for 5 years and still go to the east coast a lot because my mom, dad and one of my sisters lives in Boca Raton. When I visit over there I feel like i'm in a motorcross rally where 75% of the drivers are total assholes. You don't notice it until you move away to a sane place. Fort Lauderdale was a lot of fun, but there is definitely a trade off in the attitude of people. That goes for everybody you come across-clerks, service people, waitresses...everybody.

I think that comercial uses stunt doubles - except for maybe the Lance Armstrong boxing segment. You never seen the face close up of the players while doing the specific action, so I suspect a body double is doing it for the most part. The Marion Jones gymnastic thing looks to be digitally enhanced, as does the Agassi base hit.

If you notice you never see the face of the athlete when they are performing the action, they either pan out (like in the case of Agassi and Williams), or you only get a shot at their back (Urlacher and Vick on the ice). Just a hunch.

As for asshole drivers - if you think Florida is bad, come up to Jersey, you'd be amazed.

what the hell is up w/women and writing checks, don't u women know it is the 21st century we now have debit cards. I just don't understand this crap. always, i mean always in front of me in a grocery store some women pulls out her checkbook after all the groceries are rung up and then begins writing this mother. Debit cards women, swipe it, sign it and move on.

countinguy- alright I'll confess,........................ I usually don't do it this early, but I was just breakin KOSARS balls............. :moon::D

but in all seriousness DEBIT CARD = TROUBLE for "me" anyaway!!!!!!!!! I'll debit everything I do during the course of a day and not keep track of what kind of damage I am doing ...............SO THATS WHY I, as a woman tend to prefer checks "especially" at the food store , my bill runs around $400 at Sams Club and around $200 at the regular food store :D

Is the commercial w/Vick, Urlacher and Armstrong for Nike or Adidas? The marketing morons (there I go being redundant) try and come up with something creative, yet I can't even remember who the advertiser was.

On the subject of writing checks at the grocery, nothing pisses me off more than being in the express line and someone takes out their checkbook OR debit card. I guess only horse bettors like myself keep cash handy for the store.

Blackman,

No offense to you or anybody else, but a huge % of people from West Palm Beach south to Miami *are* from New Jersey(and New York, Philly, Boston....well, you get the idea). The people from the northeast tend to end up on the east coast of florida and midwesterners prefer the west coast of florida. I'm not saying there's a correlation in the atmosphere of each of the coasts, but.......

Garden,

Those Quiznos commercials have to be the worst ad campaign that i've ever seen. They need to fire that agency. It's a commercial for a restaurant, but the commercial makes you feel like throwing up and makes you think of rodents. Bizarre.

Driving on the east coast of Florida is a nightmare. I live in Los Angeles and even I hate it there. Seems to me at least people in L.A. are trying to move. You get so many morons on the east coast of Florida just piddling along in the number 3 lane.

L.A. is worse for road rage, though. Nobody even honks a horn out here for fear of getting shot.

If you're gonna pull the credit card out for coffee, at least go overpay 3 dollars for one at Starbucks. That way you get to say "Hi" to BTJ.

Writing checks or needing instructions on debit/credit when you're in the express checkout is a big time No-No.

Call me old fashioned but how people can run around without cash is beyond me.

No doubt. It's unbelievable how consistently SLOW the express lines at supermarkets are. Most of them have signs saying, 'no checks', but people (women) still whip out that checkbook all the time(of course they don't take it out of their purse until the order is totally rung up and usually can't find it for 30 or 45 seconds) and the clerk doesn't say anything(can't really blame them I guess, they already have the order rung up, so they're kind of stuck).
