Since it has been pointed out that the cake thing obviously isn't hetro related, I'm assuming Betty Crocker or Duncan Hines is knocking down his door to get him inked for some cake and frosting commercials.

So he is a genius, apparently has good business sense, and is a good athlete... and you don't like him? you are certainly entitled to your opinion. this statement makes zero sense, however, as airportis pointed out. in fact, the early speculation was that he was a solid 3rd to 4th round pick. IF ANYTHING, his coming out may have cost him a few rounds.

That being said.. He will be able to get endorsement deals that he most likely otherwise would not be able to get. Especially if he is just another average Joe player. Drafted in the 7th round that is most likely the case.
I think the cake and kissing thing in full view of the cameras was a big part of that..
