I agree Mabus on McCain being strong among independents

he is not that strong with this independent...

i have to see who he picks as a running mate & will hear him on the issues once he is nominated...then i will decide whether to vote for him or sit it out...under no circumstance will i vote democratic if i have to choose between hillary or obama...

Regarding minorities. Hispanics are now the largest minority in America, and McCain pulled more than 50% of the Hispanic vote in the Florida primary- So I think he may do extremely well with Hispanics in the general as well.

this is why he joined forces with kennedy on that bill...he had is eye on the campaign....

If you think we are having troubles competing globally now, you better get used to the taste of bologna for every meal if we immediately removed all illegal immigrants from this country.

We would not stand a chance in hell with our current output from Americans and the current trade policies in place.

Something that I don't get is I keep hearing how Clinton-Obama ticket is a dream for Dems. I don't agree.

1. Clinton would NEVER run as VP.
2. Clinton would more than likely not want someone as popular as Obama to possibly overshadow her on her own ticket.
3. I think Edwards would be the best VP choice for either.

I would like to see a McCain - Paul ticket. :00hour

I always wanted someone to put Perot on their ticket back in the day to handle the fiscal side.

Speaking as a registered Democrat who is liberal on social issues and fairly moderate on the economy and foreign policy, Obama is my choice.

However, I would vote for McCain over Clinton everyday and twice on Sundays.
