"PLEASE HELP! That (now viral) video of the officer in McKinney subduing a girl in a bathing suit was in OUR neighborhood. The situation was NOT what is being reported?
A DJ setup in a public space next to the private pool in our neighborhood on Friday and played loud explicit (F-bomb) music for multiple hours (it is unclear if he was invited by a resident as no one has claimed responsibility). The teenagers (both black and white) were being brought into our neighborhood by the carload because the DJ was tweeting out invites to a ?pool party? for $15 (obviously unauthorized by our neighborhood). The teens began fighting with each other and pushing their way into our private pool. Some were jumping our fence. The security guard was accosted when he tried to stop the beginnings of this mob scene. Some residents who live around the park/pool area tried to come out and settle things down. The teens started yelling racial slurs at our neighbors and started assaulting people and property (throwing bottles at cars and attacking a mother at the pool with 3 young children). The first officer on the scene was by himself. At that time, the party had grown to a large, aggressive crowd. As the officer arrived, many teens started running through our neighborhood. Many of the teens were being very aggressive and yelling at the officers as more arrived.
This was a very dangerous situation for the officers AND the teens/residents not involved. The news media has refused to hear the neighborhood?s side of this story. The video being distributed is only a very small segment of what happened. This information being distributed by the media and others is extremely distorted and in some cases outright lies.
PLEASE HELP US STOP THE BROADCASTING OF THIS IGNORANCE. The media is trying to make it look like our neighborhood is a white?s only, racist area. Anyone who has spent even a few minutes in our area knows this is an outright LIE.
The unfortunate result is that our neighbors are now being threatened. We have also had cars and property in and around the park area vandalized this weekend. Unfortunately, the press and social media are trying to enflame the situation.
I am asking for your help for my family and my neighbor?s safety?PLEASE, PLEASE do not rebroadcast any of these lies."

Of course, there are always two sides to a story....

WASHINGTON -- When Miles Jai Thomas arrived at a party at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool in McKinney, Texas, on Friday night, the pool was open to everyone -- until a security guard showed up and removed black partygoers from the area.

?Then he started making up rules to keep us out,? Thomas, 15, told The Huffington Post.

A white woman at the pool started making racist comments, Thomas said, such as telling black teens at the party to get used to the bars outside the pool because that?s all they were going to see.

Grace Stone, 14, who is white, told BuzzFeed News that she and friends objected to an adult woman making racist comments to other teens at the party and that the woman turned violent.

(Video showing an altercation)

This is when, according to Thomas, a 19-year-old black woman told the belligerent white woman to stop fighting with the teenagers. The white woman called the black woman a ?young bitch,? then walked up to her. After the young woman said her age out loud, the older woman punched her in the face. Another unidentified white woman jumped in as well before Thomas, who was recording the incident, and his friends went to break it up.

It was after this incident that the cops showed up and ?started cursing and yelling at us,? Thomas said. He described an officer manhandling a young girl, as shown in this video embedded above.

?So a cop grabbed her arm and flipped her to the ground after she and him were arguing about him cursing at us,? Thomas said.

When two teens went toward the cop to help the girl, they were accused of sneaking up on the cop to attack.

?So a cop yelled 'get those motherfuckers' and they chased [us] with guns out. That's why in the video I started running,? Thomas said.

"I was scared because all I could think was, 'Don't shoot me,'" he said.

About 20 people were handcuffed during the incident, Thomas estimated. McKinney Chief of Police Greg Conley said in a press conference that one arrest was made, according to BuzzFeed News.

This story is developing and will be updated as we hear back from people involved in the incident.

Party host: Racist white people started McKinney melee before calling police

Party host: Racist white people started McKinney melee before calling police

Yet another viewpoint....

Neighbors are defending police who chased black teenagers at gunpoint and tackled a girl wearing a bikini after breaking up a party at a community pool over the weekend in McKinney, Texas.

But one homeowner and her daughter say those neighbors confronted some teens when they went outside and began taunting them and their guests with racial slurs before starting a fight.

Tatiana Rose, who lives in the Craig Ranch neighborhood and hosted the party with her siblings, said a woman and man who live in the neighborhood showed up and called their friends ?black f*ckers? and told them to return to their Section 8 housing.

The 19-year-old Rose said most of her friends who attended the party live in Craig Ranch ? which sits along a golf course.

Rose said one of her younger brother?s friends ? a white girl named Grace Stone ? scolded the neighbors and told them it wasn?t right to use racial slurs.

?So then they started verbally abusing her, saying that she needs to do better for herself, cursing at her, and I?m saying, no that?s wrong ? she?s 14, you should not say things like that to a 14-year-old,? Rose said.

She said the woman, who she identified as Kate, told her to go back to her government-assisted housing and smacked her in the face when she stuck up for the younger girl, and she said another woman also attacked her.

They called police, and white partygoers said the officers ignored them and chased, tackled, and pointed guns at black, Hispanic, or Arabic teens.

Rose?s mother said she didn?t understand why neighbors confronted the teens and then called the police instead of speaking to her about their concerns.

?I?m just upset that we couldn?t have a peaceful event, and if it was any issues that they truly had, they should have came to me, the adult that was here at the event, and said, ?Hey, we don?t want the kids? ? whatever ? then let me handle it, and not go to that extreme,? said LaShana Burks, who owns the home where the party was held.

One of the officers who responded to the noise complaint, Eric Casebolt, has been suspended.

What a pile of bullshit. I'm sure they just rolled in calling everyone black fkrs. Just like everyone said they saw OFc. Wilson shoot for no reason a black guy "running away with his hands up". You people are so gullible.
The truth will come out again and you cop hating dicks will look the fool again.

A cops job is to pull a gun on unarmed teens?

I guess your thought process involves the teens being black so that makes it alright for you. What if that cop pulled his weapon on your kids, and threw one to the ground face first with his gun pulled?

What would you think then?

I can only speak to what I know from the reports. I wasn't there.

The big deal is an officer pulling a weapon on unarmed minors in a fit of anger hedge. I know it doesn't help that nobody on Fox has told you how to feel about it yet

ii think the 48r(make that 96) hour rule is in order here....

still, one thing i can`t get my head around....at what point did kids get so aggressive with police?...i grew up a s a young kid in a bad section of Baltimore city and had some friends that were downright hardcore juvenile delinquents...but we didn`t challenge a cop`s authority....we just had 2 homicidal biker gangs in texas sit down on a curb and stay still when police instructed them to(this after multiple shootings)....yet a bunch of teenagers seem totally confused by this directive?....

seems like theres a deep-rooted problem when you have young kids acting like this....

There were about 250 murders in several big cities during the month of May.
Most were black on black murders .
Our resident George Soro sheep including the socialist n Canada who thinks there is no evidence to convict the Boston Bomber are more worried about a cop during his job at a Texas pool party altercation?
Is there no sympathy for the 300 bikers still sitting in jail in Waco? Why can't they get off like the thugs who looted and rioted in Baltimore?

This is the sort of moment we need to reflect on. Police work can be very hard and very dangerous. Dallas cops face things every day that would make most of us shudder. Decisions have to be made in split-seconds. Police officers are human and make mistakes.

But controlling a pool party gone wild in a McKinney neighborhood is not exactly the zenith of hard police work. This should be bread and butter cop stuff. Show up, turn the lights on, tell the kids to move along, be done with it. If they refuse, stay calm, call in back up and sort things out rationally.

Instead, we get this insane scene on this video. Why? What was the point? What was the catalyst? Was there a gun? There has been no such report of that. Was there a crime? Not that?s been reported. Maybe some kids were at the Craig Ranch pool without being properly registered guests. Not exactly the first time that has happened in teenage land. Maybe some kids got into a fistfight. Yeah. Teenage boys sometimes do that. Break it up and tell them to move it along.
