Hedge,
You paid a stripper you knew for 24 hours to take your daughter shopping on her birthday while you sat in the bar drinking and you're taking about good parenting?

You sat in a bar with your kids on visitation weekend watching the 7th round of the NFL Draft and bitching about Michael Sam and you're talking about good parenting?

Well holy shit Dr. Oz thanks for your input. I'm sure your father of the year award is in the mail.

There only has to be more to the story for you. You'll look for any reason to blame the blacks. That is your M.O.
If there was more to the story do you really think the cop would be suspended and the chief would make the statement about his actions being disturbing?

Maybe the cop overreacted and drew his weapon when he shouldn't have. How hard is that for you to fucking fathom? Fuck!!

A Facebook post from a resident there ...

Facebook friends and family ? PLEASE HELP! That (now viral) video of the officer in McKinney subduing a girl in a bathing suit was in OUR neighborhood. The situation was NOT what is being reported?

A DJ setup in a public space next to the private pool in our neighborhood on Friday and played loud explicit (F-bomb) music for multiple hours (it is unclear if he was invited by a resident as no one has claimed responsibility). The teenagers (both black and white) were being brought into our neighborhood by the carload because the DJ was tweeting out invites to a ?pool party? for $15 (obviously unauthorized by our neighborhood). The teens began fighting with each other and pushing their way into our private pool. Some were jumping our fence. The security guard was accosted when he tried to stop the beginnings of this mob scene. Some residents who live around the park/pool area tried to come out and settle things down. The teens started yelling racial slurs at our neighbors and started assaulting people and property (throwing bottles at cars and attacking a mother at the pool with 3 young children). The first officer on the scene was by himself. At that time, the party had grown to a large, aggressive crowd. As the officer arrived, many teens started running through our neighborhood. Many of the teens were being very aggressive and yelling at the officers as more arrived.

This was a very dangerous situation for the officers AND the teens/residents not involved. The news media has refused to hear the neighborhood?s side of this story. The video being distributed is only a very small segment of what happened. This information being distributed by the media and others is extremely distorted and in some cases outright lies.

PLEASE HELP US STOP THE BROADCASTING OF THIS IGNORANCE. The media is trying to make it look like our neighborhood is a white?s only, racist area. Anyone who has spent even a few minutes in our area knows this is an outright LIE.

The unfortunate result is that our neighbors are now being threatened. We have also had cars and property in and around the park area vandalized this weekend. Unfortunately, the press and social media are trying to enflame the situation.

I am asking for your help for my family and my neighbor?s safety?PLEASE, PLEASE do not rebroadcast any of these lies.

Did you ever think they suspended the Office because they didn't want shit to escalate even more and felt the need to investigate? You know, media driven shit like what's been going on?

What was said on the 911 call, hey can someone stop by at their earliest convenience and ask these nice young kids if they could tone it down a tad? Or maybe they is a crowd of kids getting out of hand that aren't supposed to be here?

Yes the cop was over the top and that needs to be addressed..... But posting videos every time something happen isn't helping the situation it just keeps adding fuel to the fire....you want to help, try coming up with a solution instead of pounding home the fact that there are bad cops out there.....:0008

I don't know why this is such a contentious issue with some. Police officers are considered the guardians of our society, at least they're supposed to be. We are taught as children to seek out an officer if lost or in peril. This was a pool party with kids as young as 15 in attendance?!!
Why does one officer, the same one that grabs the other officers arm when he unholstered his weapon, take the time to calmly tell some of the teenagers not to run when they see police while the other one is throwing 90 pound girls on their face?
This has nothing to do with politics, nothing to do with whether or not it was a public or HOA pool. It has nothing to do with what might have happened if. It was a completely mixed crowd. White kids were swimming with black kids and enjoying some summer fun. According to all reports, not just one, ALL REPORTS, state that 911 was called and the complaint was that there were "too many black kids at the party that weren't residents". How is that acceptable to anyone? How many parties and bar fights do police break up on a weekly basis without pulling a weapon, yet teenagers in swimsuits require it?
Some of you are even insinuating that a kid was going for a gun, yet you don't even recognize that there isn't a single white kid in custody, not a single white kid restrained. As a matter of fact the one cop that spoke calmly about not running when police show up is talking to white kids? How the hell do you ignore that? How many times do we have to see this on film before some of you actually acknowledge that maybe, just fucking maybe, there is some difference between being white in America and non-white. Time and time again the majority of white America diminishes this notion as ridiculous when there is a mountain of evidence to the contrary. How long do you expect an entire race to continue taking it on the chin. It just astounds me how many people would rather pretend there is justifiable deniability than just say the cop was out of control. Not all of them, not every cop ever, just the one you can see right there on film losing his shit.

Hedge, remember when you said Ebola was a secret plan by the president so he could install martial law? I didn't realize that you actually want martial law in the U.S. as long as it's only exercised against the coloreds am I right?

Hope this helps,
FDC

Perhaps the difference in these 3 situations is your Bal-more friends were hardcore, so they knew to avoid cops or because they were always breaking the law, the bikers were involved in a mass murder so they knew they had to comply on the scene, these teenagers broke no laws - at worst they broke HOA rules - so they had no reason to think a cop pulling a gun on them was warranted.

The level of thuggery in your scenarios are not close to being equal. A teenage girl in a bikini who has done nothing worse than mouth off a bit (because afterall she hasn't broken a law) should not have a gun drawn her and be thrown to the ground with knee in her back. The fact that many of us think this is justified is disgusting.

we`ll find out whether the cop gets sanctioned....I`m waiting to see all the evidence.....

that said, what we`re seeing is a short version of the tape...allegedly, there were fights between the uninvited teens(trespassing has ceased being a crime?) and the adults at the pool.....the teens weren`t complying with the officers instructions(why?) and if you look at the tape, when he subdued the girl(who wasn`t complying) several other teens(of the 6 foot tall variety) rushed toward him....it was an unruly crowd and things were spiraling out of control....

this defiance of police is becoming the norm...you`re going to end up with the police force you deserve(like we have here in Baltimore city)..I too yearn for the day when you can control a crowd that isn`t complying with happy thoughts and good intentions....

and for those that want to make it a racial issue...apparently,according to a black resident,it wasn`t......

Really? What exactly is the difference? The cop didn't request some time off n he was told to go home and not turn to work until told to do so. So you go ahead an enlighten us all with all your vast knowledge of the "big differences" between the two terms. Especially since the consequences of either are exactly the same. Please hurry though, don't keep us in administrative leave animation. Idiot

happy thoughts and good intentions....

It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

It's a neighborly day in this beauty wood,
A neighborly day for a beauty.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

I've always wanted to have a neighbor just like you.
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So, let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?
Won't you please,
Won't you please?
Please won't you be my neighbor?

hopefully this turns out to be a one off....what happens if jack`s hoa bans community recreation zones in their own backyards?......

no more bbq`s?.......:142smilie...one the positive side, that would probably lower your association dues(because the liability rates would plummet).....

who needs that damned green egg anyway.......:SIB

Sports,

I think that's exactly why the officer was suspended administratively, there is an investigation going on now.

You mention that I'm adding fuel to the fire and not helping the situation by posting videos. On the contrary, that's exactly what I'm doing. You readily admit that the cop was over the top, you are not in the majority. Most even here refuse to admit that law enforcement has enjoyed relative lawlessness for decades. How long have poor urban communities complained about prejudice from police? None of anyone's efforts has worked to curb the rampant behavior. Maybe the question that you should be asking is how does it continue to happen with such regularity? Maybe the problem is far more deeply rooted than you originally assumed. If the situation was reversed and black cops were regularly gunning down white citizens, what efforts would have been made to stop it? Again, I'm not the one starring in the videos, I'm not the one putting them on you tube (not a media driven outlet btw) I'm the one doing what every American should be doing, trying to raise awareness in an effort to fix a very real problem.
