Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Belief in the Bible demands belief in miracles, natural science demands that no miracles can ever take place. Hence, agruments against the Bible employing natural science are obviously very defective--each side of this argument is based on a belief dogmatically denied by the other side.

On the ever fun topic of fungus, you oughtta check out book by famous Dead Sea Scroll expert John Allergo, who argued that Christianity is a hoax based on a magic mushroom sex-orgy cult. :SIB

(English Standard) The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters.

After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters

Was he still virile after 800 years? Did he still get horny? Or did he slow down at age 672?

Just sayin'.

Key Kosar, I just read where Ft. Myers is expected to suffer the 2nd worst drop in real estate prices in the country over the next year - down over 18%!

But to stay on topic - yes, Adam and Eve had many children, spoke with many serpents, and ate lots of apples.

lots of kids!! That one "scholar", I think his name was Josephus maybe, thinks they had about 30 of each, boys and girls. The Bible doesn't tell us, so nobody knows for sure.

I don't know who this chick 'Josephus' is, but is the bible the source about Adam living until age 800?

No offense, but it seems that that small fact might cast some doubt on whether that story (the bible) should be taken literally.

6-5, do you feel Adam and Eve are factual or myth based? While going to school I learned that two different groups of peoples had similar based stories of creation and eventually joined them as one, thus explaining the retelling of the story within a couple of chapters to satisfy both peoples. Just curious as you seem very knowledgable about the topic.

I've seen stuff like that in the paper, but I can't imagine it will be that bad. There's already been about a 15% 'correction' here in the last year. This market is not really at risk of tanking like that, like it can in Vegas and So Cal. And the easy hurricane season only helps things.

Can you imagine by the time Adam turned 500? I don't wanna be indelicate here, but wouldn't that be like trying to hump a 5 gallon bucket? Not sure.

If I made it past 100, I'd be greatful just to get ANY action - even if the lady was a mother of 59 with #60 on the way.

....Now if we had to clear out big wheels and dollhouses from the back of her mini-van, that'd be another story (Finster?)

Nah, I have a pretty good handle on this market. No way it goes down 18% or anywhere near. Not pricewise, at least.

I can buy that the number of new construction units will be down like that, but not prices.

You know, you can read these posts ad infinitum and say to yourself, they'll never top this one and "Bingo" here they come, guns blazing. Gotta love it.
