--a little on correlated prop
13 greens for Garcia will be majic number--if he hits that can do no worse than split double prop. His fiasco yesterday at shooting at pins early appeared to put him in more conservative mode with him actually laying up from fairway on par 5 and finished strong with 14 girs--so with him near top don't look for him to go into his all or nothing mode--yet-- but look out tomorrow if over a handful back.
So thinking 13 is on conservative side of projected with similiar weather today. Slocum bad day yesterday however finished in top 25 girs in 05 and believe he will improve today and puts total well within reach.
I doubt they firm up greens or have tougher pins(if possible) as norm for week ends.
They have been getting some rain and expect them to put the water to these developing greens with them being new-cut close and wind- and have been plenty fast as is.
Pins may actually get easier(if thats possible also) as there was some carping from the players on a couple pin positions yesterday.
Conditions sure have added to this tourney--newbees as expected are really struggling with distance control per double whammy of wind and elevation--and upper echlon struggling with the greens.

3rd round results
3rd rd---- a pick and correlated props both @ Wagerweb/Hollywood

Furyk +100 (-1/2 stroke) over Toms (win by 7)

GIRS
Garcia (-1/2) over Slocum -120 loss (12/12)
Garcia/Slocum over 25 1/2 -115 loss (24)

Sure did like this prop--and really liked it with Slocum in at 12 and Garcia going into easiest side in good shape-won't whine too bad- was due for one :)

What REALLY sucks is I just realized I meant to oppose Jason GORE, and opposed Jason BOHN. Just didnt pay attention I guess and of course GORE is in last place :cursin:

FINAL RESULT: 0-3; -4.50pts

Choi 19th
Crane 25th
Bryant 9th

Choi held the lead early in the first round until a triple bogey and Bryant threatened to sneak a top-4 finish, but always fell from contention quicker than he got there. A poor opening event for 2006.
