I agree w/u 65 has to be drugs. But i definitely do not look up at him as some kind of god, like some of u others. It is plain and simple he was a pedophile and did it mutiple times, otherwise he would have never paid that family back in the ''90's 20 mill.
It is sad since he had such a great career, I don't know where he changed over to the chester side, but I remember back in the '80's him visiting with Ryan White and his her mother quite frequently. I know he bought him a mustang convertible. Ryan was the 1st kid who had aids that got kicked out of school, if u didn't know. When he was doing that, I did think he was great and kind.
And I am sure if it was not for his money he would be sitting in jail alive til he was in the '90's. I am sure his conscious caught up w/him and that led to the drug addiction that prob. did him in.
Yeah, sorry, pedophiles don't get a free pass because they sing well.
