I think this is a fight that both of them want (Rampage and Wand), and could even mean a title shot for the winner.

Another Chuck vs. Wand would be great IMO, but Chuck doesnt deserve a shot at Wand right now, in all honesty. Also, I dont think the UFC would give him a fight that difficult right after a devastating loss... the UFC doesnt want Chuck to be KO ever again... I believe the UFC wants Rich Franklin to fight Chuck next. :shrug:

Also, i hope Rashad vs Machida never happens b/c it would make for a mega snorefest IMO. Neither guy is particularly engaging........ it would be terribly boring i think, but would fit perfectly on the next UFC: ELUSIVE card. :142smilie

BUCS, i think Sokoudjou will fight Shogun next, if Sokoudjou wins in the meantime (Shogun will have recovered by the end of the year card or sooner). Sok called out Shogun after his last victory, and that would be a good return fight for Shogun.

Raw i don't know who's style would make a good fight with Machida. Rashard is at least quick, and could possible get to him. I think if Machida fought anyone else it would look like the Tito fight.

The UFC cant even seem to find a good competitor for Machida. I've come to have major respect for him..... i just didnt understand his style at first.

I think Machida woulda made a fool out of Thiago Silva much like he did Tito. IMO Vera would have been a good matchup, but Vera turned down a bout w/ Machida b/c he had little time to prep for such an eclectic style and he was coming off two straight losses. A Thai boxer vs. a karate guy could make for a good matchup b/c the styles are so different. Machida likes to circle around and evade while Thai boxers want to cut off those angles and press the action. Still seems almost impossible to connect w/ Machida b/c he's so quick.

Machida recently hinted that the UFC may want him to fight Shogun instead of Thiago now..... either that or Machida offered to fight Shogun.





EliteXC announced what will likely be their first title fight at 205 lbs. Cyrill "Snake" Diabate vs Rafael "Feijao" Calvancante...... damn good fight if u ask me.

ok....... Rampage vs. Wanderlei is now in the books for UFC 92. Not 93.

92 will be held on Dec. 27 and this matchup is officially on the card
