Little Miss Sunshine is one of the best written movies. So good.

Tears of the Sun was actually supposed to be die hard 4 and was re-written. Not a fan.

The Judge is a good idea for a movie, but something doesn't work. It fell flat for me.

Loved the characters of Sunshine & how the family stuck together no matter what!

Didn't know that about Tears....

Loved the interaction between the Duvall & Downey characters....

State of Play
is a 2009 political thriller film directed by Kevin Macdonald. It is based on the British television serial of the same name.

The film tells of a journalist's (Russell Crowe) probe into the suspicious death of a congressman's (Ben Affleck) mistress. The supporting cast includes Rachel McAdams, Helen Mirren, Jason Bateman, Robin Wright and Jeff Daniels. Macdonald said that State of Play is influenced by the films of the 1970s and explores the subject of privatization of American Homeland Security and to a minor extent journalistic independence, along with the relationship between politicians and the press. It was released in North America on April 17, 2009. The film received generally positive reviews.

This looks interesting.... Will check it out.... Thanks!

The Apartment - I Haven't seen it.
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance - Me and my grandfather used to watch this.
Sergeant York - I know I have seen it, but I do not remember it. Gonna need a rewatch.
5 Card Stud - Haven't seen it, but I know what you mean about watching a movie just because of the actors. I feel this way about the movie Sphere. Not good movie, but I like Hoffman and Jackson.
Point Blank - Haven't seen it.
August Rush - Did not like it.
The Maltese Falcon - I love this movie.

If you haven't watched To Catch a Thief lately, you should put it at the top of your list.

The Score
is a 2001 American crime film directed by Frank Oz, and starring Robert De Niro, Edward Norton, Angela Bassett and Marlon Brando in his final film role. It was the only time that Brando and De Niro appeared onscreen together. The screenplay was based on a story by Daniel E. Taylor and Kario Salem.

After nearly being caught on a routine burglary, master safe-cracker Nick Wells decides the time has finally come to retire from his criminal activities. He is enticed into taking one final score by his fence Max. The job, worth a $4 million payoff to Nick, is to steal a sceptre, a French national treasure stored in the ultra-secure basement of the Montr?al Customs House. The sceptre was discovered by Customs agents being smuggled into Canada. Max introduces Nick to Jack Teller, an ambitious thief who has infiltrated the Customs House and gained information regarding security by acting as a mentally-challenged janitor.

A Bronx Tale

is a 1993 American crime drama film directed by Robert De Niro and produced by Jane Rosenthal, adapted from Chazz Palminteri's 1989 play of the same name. It tells the coming of age story of an Italian-American boy, Calogero, who, after encountering a local Mafia boss, is torn between the temptations of organized crime, racism in his community, and the values of his honest, hardworking father. The Broadway production was converted to film with limited changes, and starred Palminteri and De Niro.

Acting is awesome:0074

It's been 25 years or so but I'd love to go back and rewatch True Romance - Watching it as a 20 year old versus a 40 year old. I remember thinking modern Bonnie & Clyde as a kid but it's been so long I only remember a few scenes and not the whole plot.

Idiocracy - If you like scary movies, this is for you. Prophetic, the only difference is it took 15 years, not 500.

Both are awesome. Mike Judge is a rocket scientist by day.....comedic genius by night.

True Romance......you're eggplant. Remember that scene?
