KSU beat SC in Manhattan. They won in LA ly in Carroll's 1st game as coach of the Trojans. If I remember correctly, SC had the ball w a chance to tie late in this yrs game. Not a route at all -- SC made a ton of mistakes in the kicking game & Palmer had his worst game this season. The line on the game was KSt -3 or so -- that means Vegas would have had SC favored on a neutral field.
Neb beat ASU in Lincoln ty! Where did Texas & OU test themselves on the road this year? Cal @ MSU, UW @ Michigan, WSU @ Ohio St, SC @ Colorado (who beat KSt in their 1st roadie ty), Az @ Wisky, Stanford @ BC. Pac 10 teams have the balls to put their rankings on the line. It's the only way to prepare for conf play -- if you play in a tough conf.
Hard to call ASU or SC the P10 best since the conf wasn't (& never is!) decided in early October.
The Big 12 doesnt have one potent off team. The best qb that OU has faced all year almost beat them by himself -- Banks @ Missouri! That OU D would get exposed by a P10 or SEC schedule. UT would be a middle of the pack team out here -- cause you have to play a tough game every week. No Baylor, Kansas, TT, Missouri to beat up on yearly. Six different conf champs over the last 8 yrs in the Pac 10.
Until Baylor or Kansas wins a title in that conf they will always be a joke to me!
