I've successfully played on Mitchell a bunch during his ascent to a top player in this year's rookie class. This is a simple handicap tonight... Total in this game has risen from 213.5 to 216.5. Utah is playing their 5th game of a 6 game road trip and their third game in 4 nights with three tough opponents in a row (@BOS & @CLE previously). Points will be scored tonight and the Jazz are going to need use Hood and Mitchell at a high volume in order to keep pace. My only concern is that 3 in 4 nights on the road can be tough for a rookie, but he's handled the situation well recently. Quite simply, this sensational rookie has been incredible consistent, posting 20 or more points in seven of his past nine outings. I'll make a small bet that he continues the trend in another high scoring up and down game tonight in house.

Bad call on my part. A rookie with tired legs made some dumb fouls and got himself benched early. He made a few good defensive plays, but couldn't get in a rhythm offensively. Hood took over the scoring responsibilities tonight. Hindsight is 20/20, but a play on Hood over 16.5 pts would have been a nice hedge with the possibility of them both going over in a high scoring game. Jazz hanging in there late making this one interesting, but no shot for Mitchell.
