It's safe to say this experiment/side project was a disaster. Not knowing what to expect from it I used small TV wagers, what my friends and I call "Pizza and beer money bets" but even at small $ amounts the losses added up to accumulate enough to KO about half of one of my investment bets.
Losing is part of the challenge of sports betting,and it's okay when you can learn from it, get something you can use in the future, but I don't think I even got that out of this exercise.
I don't think I'll play any more spots here, the college football season is coming to an end and I'd rather concentrate on other things, like finishing strong in my regular thread, and beating the NFL and college hoops (and NBA too, but that is always difficult for me to do.)
Still, I'd like to knock a few L's off the record here, so who knows?
Maybe just one or two more plays . . .
