Really don't think character matters to most this day and time--expect most will be saying "it was just a BJ" in a month or so.
However did take him out of Nicklaus/Palmer character status and put him in the Kobe/Magic class.

The constant drain on concentration level in the future--and indentifying with failure--to live up to standards of family and friends.

People make mistakes. I certainly do. Not this particular one, but I make mistakes nonetheless.
I think the bigger issue is just not owning up to it, facing the "punishment", and moving on.
At this point, Tiger has not dropped too far as far as my respect (he's really happy about this, too), but if things get drug out too long and he continues to be shady about owning it then he'll drop off quickly.
