Yea, I came across as a prick... Sorry about that.

I agree with majority of the points.

Auburn University is being over shadowed by Auburn Athletics and its disappointing.

You didnt come off that way, I just wanted to clarify. :toast: Will you be at the dome for the championship? Might be there myself, if so I would at least like to meet up for a pregame beer or 12. As we get closer let me know if you will be there.

Yep. I'm booked at the Hilton Garden Inn across from Stats on Baker Street right at the stadium for Friday and Saturday night.

The whole family will be in. I'm positive I'm up for a couple drinks.

They have played dirty ALL year. It was a dirty hit that took Clemson QB Kyle Parker out of the game with Clemson leading by 7 late third quarter. It was Fairly that took Ryan Mallett out of the game with a dirty horse collar when they played Arkansas. Ive watched them all year . Their D-backs have been hitting running backs and QB in the back with their helmet.

You figured that out all on your own did ya? Fight fire with fire if they are going to allow him to stay in the game.

You must not be schooled very well in the world of horse collars, let me educate you - you must grab the inside of the back of the players shoulder pads and take the player all the way to the ground with your hand there.

Go back and watch the replay, see where his hand comes off the shoulder pads and stick your foot in your mouth. You can start a tackle by grabbing the collar. As long as you let go before you hit the ground it's not a penalty. Rules are Rules

If our DBs are hitting everyone in the offense in the back with their helmets, maybe all the SEC offenses should try blocking??? instead of blindly turning their backs to our defensive players....

worst flame attempt on the entire thread

UGA12. Chizik suspending Fairley would be real stupid on his part. I don't know if the chop block player you're referring to was suspended by the SEC or by the coach, it's kinda hard to tell by your post, but track records for teams in the SEC suspending their own players in big games..... it just doesn't happen. Saban and Meyer the main coaches I'm talking about there.

hahaha another all-star post. You are on a roll today buddy. Has Auburn even been accused of anything? Why would we get the death penalty?

FWIW this came from the guy that was leading the charge against Auburn 2 weeks ago........ sounds like it's fizzling a little bit.

Latest from Chris Low
"I have heard no substantial information implicating Auburn and I don't think Auburn was even involved." He was just on JOX.

You are completely wrong here. You actually think that if a defender takes a player down by the collar but disengages a split-second before the player hits the ground it isn't a penalty?

The only exception to the horse-collar rule is if the player is in the tackle box.

which was exactly where Mallet was........Inside the Tackles!

I don't have video of the play, so not sure where he exactly was. I was just pointing out how ludicrous it is to think it isn't a penalty simply because the defender didn't take the offensive player all the way to the ground.

I know, I was pointing out to the resident Arkansas douche that Mallet Head was in the tackle box and that made anything Fariley did on that play was legal!

It is amazing that the fans of the teams Auburn has beaten are the ones calling foul......strange!

I'll bet you a crisp dollar bill that had Mallet lit our ass up that day.......no problem! You need to worry about that slug of a coach you guys have and not what our DT's are doing! :violin:

Last week, Cam Newton was exposed as an alleged cheat by multiple sources. His father later admitted to the pay for play plot, which immediately places Cam's eligibility in jeopardy if proven true. Of course, Cecil has lied so much to this point, that nothing he says can be taken seriously, even when it is self-implicating.

This week, Fairley purposely raked Murray's neck and face with his facemask after slamming him to the ground. A short time later, he deliberately speared Murray in the back with the crown of his helmet well after murray had released the football. He then taunted UGA as he pranced aorund the field while coaches tried to corral him. All three incidents were viewed by millions nationally in live action, and several million others after the fact on youtube, etc...

Is the public picking on Auburn, or did the 2 players in question bring this on themselves? The answer is clear to everyone not associated with Auburn, as well as most reasonable Auburn fans.
