He was in the pocket/tackle-box when it happened. Poon it wasn't like he let go a split second before he hit the ground. Fairley and Mallet ended up hitting almost face to face on the ground. He initially pulled on the collar and let go pretty quickly if memory serves.

You RARELY see a horse collar called unless they take the player all the way to the ground while grabbing it. I know that's the rule in the NFL and it's called that way pretty consistently in college too. At least the games I've seen in the last 2-3 years since the rule got so much publicity.

Did I miss anything?

Only that you bet Georgia, have a tendancy to start posts or threads putting down Auburn, and think that we are loony, not for saying it was a good play but that it happens all the time, but we should be the poster childs.

Hard for you to argue the facts, so you use a smoke screen. TSB---typical shyster behavior

What does my $110 bet on UGA have to do with this? :mj07: :mj07:

When did I start an anti-Aub thread prior to the Cam allegations?

Did I mention anything about Cam prior to the news reports 2 weeks ago? You and I both know that this has been discussed on SEC message boards all season.

Feel free to dispute any of this.........

Cecil Newton admitted to the pay for play plot. According to NCAA rules, if this confession is confirmed, then Cam's eligibility will be in jeopardy.

Fairley ground his facemask on Murray's face and neck, then speared him after the ball had been released. Later, he pranced around the field taunting UGA while his coaches attempted to corral him.

Ok, you are free to stick your head back in the sand, or your ass, depending on which comes more naturally....

If I was an Auburn fan I would just sit back and be happy. These type of things are rairly brought up when you're in the middle of the pack or bottom.

Exactly. Last year LSU fired a WR coach for paying $1K to a JUCO DE. Nothing was made of it because LSU was 9-3, and the guy never played because Miles knew of the alleagtion early on (as Chizik did in this case), so he held him out using injury as an excuse.

In this case, Aub is undefeated and looks to be the best team in the nation.

Smoke Screen really?

You constantly bet against them, maybe a little sour grapes, no?

If I knew how to multi quote I would, but you quote hearsay as fact, and then spread it like wildfire.

And again I don't think myself or Auburn fans would say that they are ok with the hit Fairley put on Murray, only the fact that Georgia retaliation go unnoticed.

But please keep betting against us and posting stuff like this, it is entertaining as hell.

Report: Auburn signee has seven grade changes
Posted 6/6/2007

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) ? Seven grades were changed on the transcript of a Williamson High School football player who signed to play with Auburn, likely affecting his college eligibility, the Press-Register of Mobile reported Wednesday.
Principal Terrance Mixon said officials now "pretty much know he's ineligible," but didn't identify the player.

He said he still doesn't know who changed the grades but has limited access to the computer program used to enter and change student transcripts to the school's registrar.

The principal said it wasn't clear when the changes were made and that the biggest grade increase was seven points. None of the grades were failing grades.

There has been no indication that Auburn is under investigation or had anything to do with the grade changes.

The newspaper, citing officials close to the situation, said the player has signed to play for the Tigers. All-state lineman Nick Fairley is the only Williamson graduate who is a 2007 Auburn signee.

Mobile County Public Schools Superintendent Harold Dodge has said the school system is investigating grade changes at Williamson and B.C. Rain, where defensive back Ryan Williams has also signed with Auburn.

B.C. Rain coach Anthony Shamburger said Williams' transcripts were recently sent to the NCAA Clearinghouse, which determines whether athletes are eligible to play at the Division I level.

Dodge said Tuesday both investigations continue.

Fairley said he had been told he could improve his grades through extra-credit work.

The student in question had grades changed in two English classes, geometry and botany "in error" and without the knowledge of the teachers, according to a June 1 letter Mixon wrote to the Clearinghouse.

According to Mixon's letter, the student also had grades changed in physical science and biology because of a "reporting error." The teachers approved those two grade changes, but the changes were not put into the school's computer correctly, Mixon said.

A U.S. history grade was changed after the student performed extra credit, but Mixon's letter said the final grade was still listed wrong on the transcript.

Mixon is disputing allegations that another grade was changed for an honors history class.

Even though none of the changed grades was a failing score, the eligibility formula requires students must offset lower grade point averages with higher scores on the entrance exams. Mixon believes the corrected grades mean the student would have to post a higher score on the ACT to be eligible.

Saturday is the last time the test will be administered until October, according to ACT's website.

Mixon said school officials are also looking into grade changes involving two other seniors who were not athletes.

I would think that you have me confused with someone else in terms of quoting hearsay as fact or starting repeated anti-auburn threads. I recall that my initial post on the topic of Cam is that I hope it is not true. The only threads that I started in this forum are my weekly pick thread and 2 threads calling out Oregon SOS.

One of theOregon threads that I started started 2 weeks ago indicates that I hope Aub faces Oreg in the title game because Aub will be my largest play of the year.

Anyway, why would you care which side I wager on? I have lost 55% of my plays for the season...

Thanks for the laughs....

The only reason I bring up who CIE bet on is I constantly see people on here bitching about someone on the other team or a play or a call after a loss, hell I do it myself, but usually it is sour grapes, and I will leave it at that, I would rather cheer my team on to the National Championship then continue to bicker about stuff.

Has nothing to do with my team sucking fucktard that has been obvious for some time, it has to do with a piece of shit that is out to hurt people. Now in the little fantasy world you live in where you ask Fairley to play nice and he says yes sir your approach would be just great. However when it comes to a dirtbag that has no desire or ability to change his ways then there is only one way to handle it and that is to try and do to him as he tries to do to others. Now if you dont agree with that then that is fine everyone has a right to an opinion, but if you are here to take up for him or act like this is all sour grapes then I cant be any more clear, FUCK YOU.

First, let's get something straight........I could give a fuck about Fairley or Auburn. I'm not sticking up for anyone.......not even the Georgia players that were cheap shotting the whole fucking game. I'm simply making a point. You're crying like a four year old that just shit his pants in church over a guy playing dirty......but you want someone else to play dirty and break his leg.......you don't see something wrong with that???? Don't make any sense.

As for living in a Fantasy World.....well that's all you pal, living in the Internet Fantasy Super Hero World, because in the real world, you telling me FUCK YOU to my face would get you eating your next several months of meals thru a straw.....:nono:

agree. Teemo looks like he may have some brass knuckles in that hat.

Question that will resolve the issue and reveal a winner and loser:

Who is the better Capper: Teemo or UGA12?
