I'd go ahead and take the dog at that number. I think they will win about 8-3.
At the risk of threadjacking,
Does that 8-3 score have the Over or Under covering? I dont know what typical kickball totals are. If I am gonna start wagering on this sport, Jack cant get that kickball forum up and running soon enough.
Totals are tough to cap. We tied our first game 1-1, then lost 8-0, won 14-8, and won 7-6. Obviously, we are all over the board. Nary a trend to be found. The good teams (like the one we play tonight) know how to keep other teams down, but also know how to put up runs. I don't know who the home team is - which obviously makes a big difference in these 5 inning contests. If they are home, I'd say take the under for sure.

In a stunning upset, we (Spaceball One) upset previously undefeated 'That's What She Said' 7-6. We entered the bottom of the 5th down 6-3 and bunted our way into a 6-6 tie with yours truly standing on 3rd base. After a long conference at the pitchers mound, the bad guys did their best but could not stop me from barreling over the catcher and claiming victory. ....It was the highlight of my year, nearly surpassed by my 3rd base accomplishment with one of the cute coeds a few hours later. Great night.
