Tonight's the big night, Bobby.

Stephen returns on The Hills!

Also, big drama between Heidi and Spencers sister because the sister wants to go to a party for Lauren.

Chad --give me your best shot of valid reason for O & H to duck Fox network--other than fear?

on Fox viewers --little I can do but put up the ratings--and per wikipedia--
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fox_News
The channel was created by Australian-American media magnate Rupert Murdoch, who hired Roger Ailes as its founding CEO. The network was launched on October 7, 1996[1] to 17 million cable subscribers. The network slowly rose to prominence in the late 1990s. In the United States, Fox News Channel is rated as the cable news network with the largest number of regular viewers, although CNN retains a larger number of unique viewers.[2]

>>although CNN retains a larger number of unique viewers.<<

I see you [again] put this comparison up, and it proves my point, so thanks. Of course, I don't know for sure if CNN had to pay $12 per viewer like Murdoch did to get his network on the cable channels to try to get an audience...I rather doubt it. But I do know Murdoch purchased his audience, and continues to try to purchase more audience all the time. Thanks to the abolishment of media controlled limitations by individuals in the best interest of the general public by Bush appointees, he has had free reign to do so.

Can you tell me why I have to prove a point you are trying to make? I explained my take on things regarding Obama - actually pretty thoroughly - and now I guess you want me to take a shot at proving your point for you?

I don't think he was afraid of appearing on Fox. I just don't think he figured he had much to gain by doing it - much like say, any of the Republican candidates would have had by going on any of the liberal outlets. Since you are trying to hint at making a point (as I mentioned), why don't you enlighten us as to what that point might be? Pretty simple to hint and hide around the issue, if you ask me. Surely you HAVE a point to make, don't you?

You should urn off the TV and get involved in a healthy Monday evening activity like me .........KICKBALL! Yes, kickball - that game you probably haven't played since 3rd grade. 5 inning game followed by 3 hours of drinking games - most notably "flip-cup" - which I am much better at than kickball.

Sigh, another thread hi-jacked by "Bush did this" and "Obama doesn't stand for that". The guy hates America. He said it himself, Americans have no right to think whichever way they do, if it doesn't congrue with his mindset. Leftists have a history of America-hating, and Obama is just one in a long line of America-haters that the liberal media push on the country like some sort of savior-from-beyond. But it's a moot point anyways; try as they might, the Democrat leadership cannot convince the average left-winger of this country in favor of Obama, for the everyday Democratic voter knows only Hillary stands a chance vs. McCain, and Hussein has a snowball in hells chance of getting elected.

Again, please go read contemporary English novels, for you might learn a semblage of grammar and style. It's like your post was on an atomic bomb test site, highly illiterate gobbledygook.

Tenzing, the next time you attempt to criticize another?s grammar, you might want to proofread your post.

Your propensity to hyphenate words is a bit out of control. The word ?hi-jacked? should not be hyphenated, nor should ?savior-from-beyond? or ?America-haters?.

In your sentence above, a semi-colon should follow ?He said it himself?; not a comma.

Your use of the word ?congrue? is a stretch as it not recognized in modern English dictionaries although commonly encountered in Spanish and French conversation.

Your use of the word ?anyways? as an adverb is archaic and nonstandard. A slightly less dialectic quality can be imparted by substituting the more formal ?anyway? although neither use is a good idea in formal English. Although cutely colloquial, both are clumsy uses of the language.

As Kosar has already pointed out, ?semblage? is not a word. Perhaps you meant to say that Toledo Prophet might learn a semblance (or resemblance) of grammar and style if he were to read contemporary English novels.

That is advice that you would be wise to heed yourself, sir.

Listen, you guys aren't "centrists" whatever the **** means anyways, and you are so off base on all your criticisms, it's absolutely asinine that you even bother to post here, let alone on a daily basis.

I'm pretty ****ing sure I know more about what I wanted to post than you, since I speak English, and you seem to have to no idea of the language.

Okay, I'm going to use small words, with no z's, x's, or q's, hopefully you'll catch on.

Dumbest ****ing thing ever posted on here. When a word modifies another word or clause, it ****ing immediate comes after that clause. In order to distinguish that written English has a "propensity", as you put it, to make modifiers come after the modified, but another idea is understood to be indicated, but English has no way of un-doing a rule (good I'm good at showcasing how wrong you guys are) we use hyphens to indicate that the modifier, or the supposed modifier, is actually modifying a previous clause, or word. So, and here's where you need to pay attention, "America-haters" does not mean "'America' who happens to hate", but rather, and it's clear to all English understanees, that it means "those who hate America."

Don't debate grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, style, substance, or lexicography with me; (there's your GD semi-colon) you'll lose.

oh, and Chadman, **** off. Don't hi-jack a thread, then tell me to stay on topic.

q.v. My other post

q.v. My other post

... in the other thread, about how when called on your childish, puerile, asinine behavior, instead of admitting to it, you all just trudge along, as if tho nothing happened. Stop fvcking quoting each other, and stop fvcking hi-jacking threads, and stop ****ing posting useless shit, and stop trying to pretend we care, and stop fvcking doing all of those in the span of 1-2 posts, sometimes dozens of times per day. No one believes anything you guys say, you post whatever you feel like posting, and when called on it, the fact that you neither admit that you were wrong nor admit to what the truth is, is an indication, that as I have posted for yeards, you aren't here to debate, but rather sow some sort of, man I don't even know what.... some sort of ill-will among us. I'm not buying your ideas, and the simple fact that you can't back up your ideas, is all the prof I need that I'm right.

Oh, and don't continue to hi-jack this thread. But we've gone over this before, where you were politely asked to stay on topic, and refused, so I'm not holding my breath on this one either. I'm used to childish behavior from children

My post was not intended to be a debate. I merely pointed out that your chastising of TP's grammar loses merit when you bastardize the language in the manner that you have so I can not really "lose" as you predict.

You already have.

By the way, propensity is defined as an often intense natural inclination or preference, which is clearly accurate as I used the word in describing your writing style. I?m still looking for the definition of ?semblage?.

My apologies for ?hi-jacking? this thread but I hope you can all ?congrue? that our resident lexicography expert needed to be taken down off of his high horse.

Go fvcking make your own Gd thread about some fvckall non-intresting shit. But leave this one to a discussion of the thread topic.

GTFO!

The WAKA website, huh? I guess any normal person would know that URL.

Yes, i'd LOVE to look into it if I thought there was a league within, say, 3000 miles of here.

WAKA started back east and has spread west in recent years. You probably have a league nearby. In fact, we are hamstrung by old-school (hyphen?) rules set by the traditional East Coast leagues. One particularly annoying one is 8-game (hyphen?) seasons. We have 12 teams in our league, so we end up not being able to play against all the other teams.
