Well, Obama did accomplish something tangible at his "beer summit" in July. Maybe that signals "peace in our time".
The Nobel Peace is the only Noble prize awarded by politicians, politicians of a very certain ilk, and thus it was perhaps the most unsurprising win since Gore's Academy Award.
