The best Dana can do is show a free card that sucks from Europe on Spike 6 hours after it is already over. LAME!

Way better card then this crock of crap Dana is trying to sell us coming up. After the Machida/Shogun fight there isn't anything worth buying. Amazing he has all these fighters but still tries to pinch pennies with these cards. I guess he didn't like pulling in the 1.75 mill buys on the last Lesner card when he put a few good matches together.

I have to say that I am looking forward to all 4 of those fights on the Strikeforce card whereas it usually take 2 or 3 UFC events for me to be excited about 4 fights.

Dana likes to call it Strikefarce, but lately I have been calling Usually Fair Cards.

I am looking forward to UFC 106 although I have not been exicted about any of the cards top to between 100 and 106.

You guys are all missing it here.

The UFC could easily put a card together like this, every year, and they usually do have a couple of them. While Strikeforce will put this 1 together, and you'll never see a mega card the rest of the year, or ever again.

Also, do you think Strikeforce is going to be putting out a PPV or show every month? Yet alone having it be the caliber of this card.

If the UFC put a mega card together like this everytime, they'd probably only do 5 or 6 PPVs a year, and everyone would complain they're not getting enough fights. Then we have less fighters employed, etc...

When I hear complaints about quality of PPVs, it kind of pisses me off.

The UFC has 5X as many fighters as Strikeforce and yet they have 4 PPV events in a row that have 1 maybe 2 headliner fights on them.
Belfort vs Franklin should not be carrying a card as main headliner unless you have a card with other fights like this one with it.
True Strikeforce has fewer events due to the lack of depth in fighters but when they put together a card, they do it right. See the last few Strikeforce cards.

Sokoudjou just fought a few nights ago and will now fight again in less than a month.

Not sure what you mean by nothing in the future because Strikeforce is not going away. Have you seen the last few Strikeforce cards. ALL WERE STRONG LINEUPS. AND NOT ON PPV.
You could argue that Strikeforce has made better pick ups the last 6 months than the UFC has.

Dana is stringing fans and fighters along for more and more cash into the brothers pockets.

You could argue that the Cyborg vs Gina card was one of the most exciting cards this year from 1st fight to last fight.

I think the UFC 104 card is pretty solid from top to bottom, but this should be the standard when they ask me to pay $50 every 3 weeks.
At least Strikeforce is not asking for me to shell out anything that I don't already pay for.

The UFC 105 card is just plain pathetic.
And why it's not on LIVE on Spike is beyond me then re air it again at night.

The only reason it's free is because it's on CBS and strikeforce is trying to make a splash right away and hook fans from the get go long term. I'm not complaining, just stating.

The reason why you don't think some of these UFC fighters should be is because you get to see them fight 3,4,5 times a year and it's not the same as seeing a guy like Mousasi or Fedor who only fight a few times(legit contenders).

Mousasi had 6 fights in 2008 and this will be #3 in 2009.

I look at Strikeforce as free tv on Showtime because I get it for Weeds and Dexter already.
I do see your point.

And I usually do go in with 3 or 4 guys everytime so I guess my cut is MUCH less than $750 a year.
It still gives me the right to bitch because if you ask Kick then he will tell you if Dana is doing something then it is wrong in my opinion.

Well Kickserv does. His campaign against Affliction and praying for its failure was about as strange as it gets for a MMA fan. Almost like he has major stock in the UFC.
Why i never understood why the boxing guys who like to argue with the MMA guys about which sport is better or vice versa. I think i will enjoy them both and let them fight about it.

Sure UFC is the top company by a long way but other companies have the right to operate.

I have always asked why Dana gets his rocks off on bashing DREAM,EliteXC,Affliction,Strikeforce?
Hell he doesn't bash WEC when they only put just over 5,000 in the stands last night. He must hate having to bite his tongue on that company. Plenty of bashing to go around for WEC events when it comes to a financial standpoint.
