The UFC announced Monday afternoon it will move the previously scheduled Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin fight, a rematch of an epic 2006 contest won by Ortiz on a controversial split decision, into the Nov. 21 main event slot

Apparently, the massive UFC heavyweight champion has been ill for ?more than three-and-a-half weeks,? leaving him unable to train.
It came down to the make or break point with the fight just one month away.
White told MMAWeekly.com that he was unsure if the illness was the widely feared H1N1 virus that everyone is worrying about this flu season, saying, ?I?m no doctor.?

Well November is an insane month coming up for MMA fans even with Lesnar/Carwin off.
Strikeforce puts on a show Nov. 6th,7th,and 20th.
UFC has a card on Nov. 14th and 21st.
WEC has a card on Nov. 18.
For real MMA degenerates Sengoku 11 is also on Nov 7th late at night on HDNET.
Best thing about all this action is only 1 event is on PPV(UFC 106).
6 FREE TV MMA events in the same month is awesome. :00hour :00hour
That is assuming you have Showtime. If you don't then the Strikeforce cards are much easier to watch on the internet than UFC PPV events.

Rough day. Ankle looks like a purple grapefruit today and it feels like Shogun kicked it a whole bunch.
just watched the first 2 rounds of cantwell/stann 3(didn`t need to watch the 3rd)........and as a guy that expected cantwell to be a little to all around technically good...and be the better boxer and kicker....i was wrong....
i honestly gave both the first 2 rounds to stann...and i didn`t think it was all that close...
cantwell was out-boxed and out-kicked....stann threw more and landed more..his movement obviously messed with cantwell`s head...
and cantwell showed his frustration by yelling and throwing his hands up....it looked bad to the judges...bad move..
very disappointed in cantwell`s performance...he lived up to his niclname and fought like a robot..
glad i watched this.....i was way wrong....cantwell has more holes than i originally thought...and stann fought a very smart fight...

How happy is Kegray.....a perfect match-up for Kimbo, I mean except for Bob Sapp, Houston has the worst ground game in MMA. If Kimbo doesn't win this, he is done.
As for Marius Zaromskis, Dana messed up there. Marius is #3 in the world in the division (behind GSP and Fitch), would have loved to see him fight GSP or Fitch, oh well.

First thought was that Houston was working on his ground game as we speak.
Then I thought ,nay his ground game is so bad that he just has to slug it out and hope Kimbo's chin is weaker than his.
I am very curious as to what the Vegas line might be.
I am guessing it will be under -140 as a fav. I am leaning towards Alexander -140 as the fav.
Agree that if Kimbo can't KO Alexander then he doesn't deserve another fight.

I was thinking the same thing about the odds......almost impossible to set odds on this fight. If it were my own sportsbook I'd set it at a "pick em". I have no idea what the odds will be but I think it really should be a "pick em" fight. Both guys will just stand there and throw. 50/50 chance really. One thing is for sure, it will not go to a decision.
