I see nothing wrong with profiling Middle-Eastern men in airports, around embassies, around ships, etc. These are the folks setting off bombs and carrying out terrorist activity. My 83 year old grandmother who has a hard time even walking was pulled off to the side at the airport 2 weeks ago and even had to remove her shoes for inspection while at the same time several Arabic men walked right on board without difficulty. Something is wrong with that. I don't think it's racism, I think it's looking at the previous facts and being smart. Learn from the past. I'll be the first to say let's inspect all women over 80 years of age as soon as one of them hijacks a plane, bombs an embassy, blows themself up in a crowded store, or kidnaps a journalist.

You're totally missing 6-5's point. I'm not disputing the fact that using an old lady as a death tool exists. Chances are slim BTW. The fact is, Middle Eastern men were the prime suspects in the terroristic acts, so why would airport security target an old lady while letting more "potential" suspects waltz right on by? That would be the equivolent of police in DC searching a black van and letting the white van drive on by at a check point.

It's tactics like that that can fuhk us in the ass when trying to combat terrorism. I pray to God you don't work security anywhere.

Sometimes you just get confused by it all. I do not know why Iraq is the main topic everyday from our leaders. But it is. The hell with the economy. There was little notice in the media ? but some things changed in our international airports. They?ve actually (gasp!) started profiling! Special attention is being paid to foreigners coming into this country from Middle Eastern Nations ? especially those that foster terrorism. These visitors are being photographed, questioned and fingerprinted.

Well, guess what? Now we?re getting complaints from some Arab groups that they?re being singled out. They think that everybody, or nobody should be subjected to this extra scrutiny. It?s just unfair, not to mention discriminatory, to single out Muslims and Arabs.

OK. Thus far I think I?ve presented this situation to you rather calmly, don?t you? Well ? that?s over.

Screw these guys. We?ve been attacked. Over 3000 Americans are dead. They were killed by Muslims who are Arabs. There?s not a day that passes that some Arab Muslim doesn?t announce his dedication to the cause of killing as many Americans as possible. As long as they?re killing Americans ? or announcing their desire to do so ? search them! Look up their nostrils. Give them a colonoscopy. Do whatever needs to be done to make sure that they're not bringing a weapon onto that airplane. Maybe then they'll start turning on their fellow Arabs and Muslims ... the ones who are causing them all this grief ... instead of these childish complaints about profiling and discrimination.
