Some games you bet, some you watch. This is one of the latter for me. Going to just sit back and enjoy it (while rooting for the Buckeyes).
Also, on tough places to play, had a friend tell me many years ago that playing in Lubbock was like playing in Russia. Strange things happen there. Definately a tough place for a ranked opponent.
The Judge said:The styles of play in the Big 10 have not prepared Ohio State for a mobile quarterback like Vick and for those who continue to believe that his passing game is lacking are in for a big surprise.
Young went 13 of 15 for 173 yards for three touches in one half of play and one of the misses was a dropped pass at the goal line.TimmyE said:VY had a td/int ration of 3/1 playing the school of the blind at home, I'll say he throws at least 3 picks against OSU.
Comparisons are being made between Taylor and Ted Ginn. Freshman running back Jamaal Charles looks impressive as well.CCMAN said:because the bucks will be keyed on vince young the difference maker in this game will be ramonce taylor....i've been watching this kid since his highschool days and the g.p. has no idea what he is capable of...literally he is like having another vince young either at tailback reciever or wherever mack puts him...
I just noted that out of his 15 pass attempts he threw a pick against one of the worst defenses in this division, but if you think the way OU played against TCU makes a difference in this matchup, good luck, but I wouldn't go that route. The Judge said:Young went 13 of 15 for 173 yards for three touches in one half of play and one of the misses was a dropped pass at the goal line.
Oh yeah Timmy, nice job by your boys against the mighty Horned Frogs.
I never said Oklahoma's pitiful preformance made a difference in the Texas/Ohio State game, but since you pointed out that Texas' success last week was against "the school of the blind", I thought it only fair to note how the Sooners fared against TCU, also "at home".TimmyE said:if you think the way OU played against TCU makes a difference in this matchup, good luck, but I wouldn't go that route.
TimmyE said:Sun likes to judge how tough places are by how OU does there, OU is 5-1 at Tech. Its a different story for how crapy they do at A&M.
I'm not going to go huge on this game either, I just see Ohio State pulling away with a win.
Mike Vick?

Sorry, I didn't watch the game, it wasn't on out here or I might have, but I just saw the stats. I guess they don't always tell the whole story.Sun Tzu said:The pick was all on the receiver. I am the last one to defend Young's passing, but that comment is simply disingenuous. All of the incompletes were drops. The Texas receiving corps leaves a great deal to be desired.
