Wonder why the corporate media isn't playing up this story. I heard McBush was in Pittsburgh last week and was telling reporters about his POW days. He told them that when the NVA questioned him about the names of his squad he gave them the names of the "Steel Curtain".
Only problem with this story was that, in his book, ole John wrote that he told the NVA captors the names of the Packers offensive lineman. Another slight problem with his story to the Pittsburgh reporters was that at the time of his capture and while he was a POW the "Steel Curtain" was not yet in existence.
Mean Joe Greene, LC Greenwood, Ernie Holmes and Dwight White were the original "Steel Curtain" which was named in 1971. Ole John became a POW in 1967. Hmmmmmmmm. I guess the corporate media was looking for more stories on sermons given by Reverand Wright in 1956.
