Yep.....it is all about the wins coming back.

I mean that is all that really matters.

He protected a child molester, but all we really should focus on is if the wins come back or not.

That is what really matters.

I feel better now.

and yet again the power of reading something and comprehending what you just read disappoints me.

Guess we missed the $60 million dollars to fight child abuse part of it and the NCAA quietly, unofficially acknowledging they overreached their power.

Give him back the wins he will never be remembered the same and never should be remembered the same.

It's hard to imagine loving a team or school that much that you are able to find positives in this terrible terrible situation. BOYS were being raped in your showers and no one gave a shit, cause he was a good D coordinator.

Makes me sick for the people of Penn St that actually wanted this madness to go away, but hey the creepiest cover up coach guy who let his buddy rape little boys in the team shower, has his how many wins back.

Fuck me.

the school adminstrators are just as much, if not more, guilty of the same brush you paint paterno with.
Yet there hasn't been much of a calling to wipe out and invalidate any of the diplomas that were awarded to the graduates in that same era.
You don't hold a standard to one person. It's called a standard because it applies to everyone.

Psu alum

Think this was terrible decision....

The victims are the only thing that need be talked about publicly anymore......remember what happened, so we are certain to make sure it doesn't happen again. ...but dont talk about wins/coaches...that just means we have missed an oppurtunity to remember the injustices that took place...

Children were molested, and we spend this combination of time/money to argue wins? Doesn't make sense...donate it to families/charities and use the time to educate ppl....fuck or watching tv....anything but argue this bullshit

We have to remember that anytime these events and coaches are discussed, it creates an oppurtunity for the victims to relive those horrific events that took place under those same coaches watch...

So if you are going to bring the Psu scandal up for any reason, aside to remember the victims, you better damn well make sure its worth it

I feel like this whole thing just *happened* to occur at Penn State. There must be at least 50 similar college football towns that worship their teams and give coaches too much power where this could have occurred.

That said, I don't know how even a dedicated lifelong Nittany Lion fan could care about Paterno's legacy at all. He's scum. :0008
