Glad you like the Eagles Christo. As for my Roos, the points are tempting given our undefeated record against the Power. The wet weather might just get me tempted!! I haven't been able to read 'em too well this season.

West Coast Eagles 119 defeat Collingwood 103

WHEW!!!

What a 'nail-biter' of a game!! After West Coast surrendering a 40 point lead early on and the Magpies taking it back out to a 15 point lead their way, the Weagles kick the last four goals to win it outright. :spotting:

I thought 'the Express' was about to hit a log on the tracks!!!:D

Season to date: 6 - 3 @ 66.66% ----- Bank = $11,055 @ 138%

Well, we've surrendered a small bit of the bankroll over the two games but still in front and safely rolling on to next weeks games.
We've learnt to keep clear of Hawthorn for the next 5 years!!! and that the Eagles are to be taken seriously this season. The system is smack on the 66% mark and thats as low as we want it to go.

'til next week.......

Also played the Doggies @ +19.5 tomorrow :com:
Some real good reasons.....Fully expect my boys to pull one out of the hat!

As an avid brisbane supporter ive made a living this year backing opposition teams ATS. I think brisbane is 1-6 ATS this year from memory.

I feel that brisbane makes a statement tonight, with the crows lack of goal scoring power brisbane will cover comfortably tonite.

Bris -24.5

GL all

btw, think melbourne will show up tonite and put an end to the tigers run........ wont put $$$$ on it.

Melbourne's kicked more goals in the first 1/4 than I expected them to muster for the evening!!

Richo 6 marks, 8 possies, 2 goals 2 tho....still very confident ;)

Incentive....An avid Brisbane supporter? I was a huge Fitzroy fan, but Brisbane just wasn't the same.

Were you in the same boat, or an original Bears man?

Christo,

Was a BIGGG Fitzroy fan, always at whitten oval (i'm 22yo), watching us get thrashed every week:(

The merger was inevitable unfortunately, so rather than follow another side or the VFL, i chose brizzy.

It isnt the same, but winning 2 flags helps!

Lions have a bit of work to do to cover this spread at halftime!

Nice!!

I'm in Tassie, so didn't get to many games......But the one's I did were fairly memorable (I'm 26).

Clearly remember 95 v. Sydney....Tony Lockett kicked 16...We got absolutely pummelled.....I nearly got into a fight with some mouthy middle-aged Sydney supporter.....And Plugger very nearly killed Stephen Paxman with the most visious headlock I've seen in person in the goal square at the southern end!! (I was standing right behind those goals at the time.......Let's be honest, good standing spots weren't exactly hard to come by! :D )

Hope the Lions get up for you. :toast:

Good to see the pawa system turning over a west coast win for us this afternoon. Mr C, good call on the weagles winning it outright mate. Took them and the lions straight up just to have something to sweat. The doggies tomorrow ay! The stats add up and hopefully everything falls your way tomorrow MrC. Taking Geelong +21.5 and considering the dogs. Any opinions on tomorrows games?

You are correct about Brisbane, but after tonights effort they go to 1 - 7 ATS. Clearly the worst perfoming team this season with the spread. Melbourne and Bulldogs not far behind with 2 - 5 ATS records. Tigers on top with a 5 - 2 ATS record (all before this week)

ATS wins from games played up to round 7 **For anyone who is interested>>>>

Richmond 5>7
Adelaide 4>7
Collingwood 4>7
Fremantle 4>7
Kangaroos 4>7
Port Adelaide 4>7
St. Kilda 4>7
Sydney 4>7
West Coast 4>7
Carlton 3>7
Essendon 3>7
Geelong 3>7
Hawthorn 3>7
Melbourne 2>7
Western Bulldogs 2>7
Brisbane 1>7

I've got the Bulldogs +points in a multi tied with Freo -21.5 and Tigers / Port for good $$$. I think Christo's doggies are 'due' and Carlton are crap.

We all know what Freo have been like at home lately. Giving up cheap points looks to me like easy $$$ ;)

Good punting fellas......

Christo

Not trying to turn this into a brisbane lions/fitzroy convention, but my 2 best memories as a fitzroy supporter were beating freo as our only win in 96... i think. And the final game in melbourne v richmond where i actually got onto the ground with the players at the end and found my photo in the herald sun. Had it blown up in colour and prob remains my most prized possession.

Last night, Lions once again doing the bare minimum.

Brisbane under 39.5 has been a solid bet all year, mite be worth looking at for future games.

Btw, i thought it was zanotti who almost got killed by plugger that day... i have a shocking memory though. Sad thing is he spent 20mins on the bench. Could have kicked 20!

Pawa,

Love the doggies 2moro, with ya all the way on that one, cant see carlton beating many teams by 3 goals this year.

Some big changes for the Sydney/Geelong game.........

...O'Loughlan and Saddington OUT for Sydney

King OUT for Geelong!!!

Pretty much evens things out really......maybe favours Geelong slighty as Chambers has been good so far...rucking the whole game will certainly test him tho!

Actually like Geelong +21.5, but travelling 2 weeks in a row will surely hurt them.

Very wet in Sydney too......LOTS of rain in the past couple of days.

Nice to see it a little inclement in Melbourne too ;)

Western Bulldogs now 3..7 ATS.

$$ winner, but still shattered.

I'm a very objectional man, watch a lot of footy, but we got smashed by the umpires!!
Two goals in the last 1/4 from a) a mark that Croft clearly grabbed first....And then the softest in the back for the year...let alone a game in those conditions

Also if any of you watched the game, or watch a replay can you please tell me why the last centre bounce wasn't holding the ball against McKernan, who grab it out of the air and then dropped it like a hot spud when tackled??????????????????????

4-1 for the weekend (with Richmond being a double play)...but $$ can only do so much! (ok, that was a little dramatic :D )

Still shitty tho

Yeah.....your boys got stiffed big time Christo. Shoulda been a win but what can ya do?

Nice to have a good weekend after the last two weeks struggle (Pawamech being the exception at 1 - 1 for a slight % fall)

Freo capping off the round by an easy rolling of the Saints. That number was always going to be too low.

On to next week......
