Took the Sixers long enough, but the Knicks ineptitude can usually be relied upon even when they're trying to win the game. Somehow, they're gonna blow the full game cover, not just the game.

Played it.
PHI -3 1Q (-115) 5

FWIW, I also played...
TOR -6 1H.

Would have played it larger if not for it being the 1st game back from a 5-day road trip and a b2b situation. TOR is far and away the best 1H team at home and DAL is one of the worst. Toronto playing with some revenge after a frustrating, poorly-officiated loss in Dallas earlier this year, which was also one of their worst losses on the season. Only part I don't like is it being the 1st game back after a road trip, but hopefully the b2b situation negates the distraction factor there.

Glad I was busy wasting time and money in NCAA yesterday or I might have played Philly.
Second half wager would have been a good play on Raptors but I was busy throwing away money on Virginia to win.
Have you noticed that Miami is playing pretty well? I believe Portland will keep playing hard and that Houston will stay focused to get home court advantage over Warriors ( even though I do not think it will matter come playoff time).
Good luck today.

I know this has been rough lately, but have faith, they will be at full strength today and are playing at home, where they do their best work in the 1st Qtr (league-leaders at home with a +4.4 margin).

Played it two ways today, just to be on the safe side...

PHI -2.5 1Q (-115) 5x
PHI ML 1Q (-210) 2.5x

This is a well-read thread. The angles are profitable for sure.

Thanks!

I don?t know how I laid this number, but I did. Have to expect a strong start against the tanking Grizz in Philly tonight.

PHI -4.5 1Q (-115) 3x

Memphis has been scoring decent pts in 1st Q in last 3 games.

Memphis last 5 games... lost 31-32 @ nets, won 34-17 vs denver, won 29-22 vs bulls, lost 32-24 vs bucks, lost 24-23 vs jazz

76'ers last 5 games ....won 21-18 vs Hornets, lost 33-30 vs nets, 32-32 @ knicks, lost 33-23 vs pacers, won 37-25 @ nets.

Memphis plays significantly slower on the road than at home. If they dictate the pace early, the margin for error will be smaller. On the other hand, Philly plays a bit faster at home, especially early, so we have to hope they can control the 1st Qtr pace. The young group Memphis has been starting (save for Gasol) recently as well as the absence of Tyreke Evans should help.

Yes, this is what we want...a higher-scoring, faster pace of play early from Memphis. I might consider this a result of the younger group they've put out there recently, who tend to be less patient in allowing plays to develop and more likely to try get up and down and run with the ball some.

Thoughts on todays game?

I feel that the 8pts on the full game line is a little high, which makes it a difficult to lay the 2.5 for the 1st qtr today. I'll go small...

Sorry for the late post. The early start time caught me off guard. This is still pretty much an auto-play, especially when they are at home. The only question is the unit size, depending on the situation.
