Will use this thread to post some very small plays/thoughts on games up until the major European leagues get started. This will include some CL and Euro qualifiers and all these international cup games. All of these are tough to cap and are very small plays just for some degenerate action since there is nothing else going on.

CL
Helsinki -2 -110. They should busy this team from the Faroe Islands at home. They won 2-0 on the road, so I think they should at least match that today. They are the highest scoring home team in the Finish league, which may not be that strong overall, but it is much stronger than the league Vikingur plays in.

Euro
Sofia -1 -150. Like the home side from Bulgaria over a Lichtenstein team that plays in the second division of Switzerland, especially since Vaduz won 1-0 at home.

Will see how this goes and then may play a later one.

Two pushes, missed penalties by both teams in the second half were killers.

Crazy play of the week. Crusaders +1100!

I know this is a completely ridiculous play. They lost 7-0 in Bulgaria. Ludogorets traditionally is a big money maker for me and I loved them last week. They are more fit since the Bulgarian league starts this weekend. But, they won 7-0 and want to be in shape for their first league game on Saturday. Highly unlikely that the Crusaders win, but not easy to play in N. Ireland and Ludogorets can lose and easily advance so I will take shot.

Qarabag - 175/-1 Even. This team does not give up goals at home. Problem is that they do not score much either, but they are a seasoned team that does well in this competition. Tough to lay -175 in a game like this, so I will lay the -1 and hope for the 2-0 win

Rosenborg Ov 2.5 -130. Historically this team scores goals at home and they do struggle some defensively. They lost 1-0 in the first game so probably need Valur to score to get this one as Rosenborg is very happy with 2-0 (which is why they are -1.5). Little juicy given the situation but I think the line is telling so it is worth a shot.

Wow, I thought Qarabag would show a little more than that today. That was one hideous game. They were simply happy with the 0-0 and the Slovenians were absolutely terrible (1 shot on goal!). Just another example of why you can not bet any real money on these games. My Norway boys aren't looking that bad but they just can not score. That one is looking like another loser.

Split yesterday

Europe is impossible to cap with all the games and some teams I know absolutely nothing about. I do know that Derry is not very good and tend to give up a lot of goals. They have to travel to Belarus and play a Dinamo team that is doing well in the league again this year. Dinamo should handle them easily but this game should see some goals so I will go with the Ov 2.5 -140.

If this hits I will find something later.

i hope yo don't mind me jumping in here:

based on first leg and over all situations:

Gandzasar Kapan +? +120

Kapan had good (based on stats) match against Poznan and might actually pull up a surprise.
1st match was over in 15min, 2-0 was penalty that killed the game off.

FH Hafnarfjordur -? -112
Slavia Sofia -1 -101

^these two are plays against finnish opponents that lost 1st leg,
more they try more they get their asses handed to them...

CSKA Sofia -120
Riga isn't very good, so mostly play against them.

No problem at all Snafu, feel free to join in. The more information the better.

First game went over, so I have been looking for another play, but I am going to join Snafu with the Hafnar..... Iceland boys over the Fins -120.

St. Patricks Ov 2.5 -140. Should see some goals in this game as Limerick is pathetic away from home. Also St. Patricks has lost 5 straight so they should concede.

As far as the International Cup games go, I will have to see the lineups before I can play anything. The starters for each game are much, much harder to figure out this year since the World Cup players are on break, so many rosters are very depleted. Also, with fast turnarounds you will see completely different rosters from game to game. Man City plays tonight and they had like 11 WC players so not even sure who will play. Dortmund, on the other hand, had barely any WC players. They are bringing some of their best players, but German papers say most will not play tonight, so will have to wait for the rosters to see if their is anything worth posting. In general, it is the Ov or the draw or nothing for me in these games.

Waiting to see starting lineups, but Liverpool will be a play if they play some of their starters. Many are on the trip, but not sure who is playing. Dortmund off short rest.

Yup, they are not even on the squad for this one, but Lallana and Fabinho are starting in midfield with Origi upfront. I like this starting lineup more than Dortmund's, but their bench is stronger and they could get an advantage in the second half. I think we will see a more wide open game here so make very small play on the Ov 3 -110. Liverpool at -120 is getting too much credit in my opinion. Looking for 2-2!

Got a little lucky to win the Over bet but Dortmund dominated the second half as predicted.

Sweden
Hammarby Ov 3 -110. This team scores at home and their home games have averaged close to 4 goals per game. Enough for me to throw a little on it.

Tempted to bet against Copenhagen today (+1) as they had a tough one mid week and I think their lines are still a bit inflated. They are not the team they used to be, but I will lay off and see how the first one goes. If it wins I will likely have a play in Ireland or Iceland.

Sweden game is already over in the first half so I will add one more.

Iceland
Grindavik -160. This is pricey but it is more of a play against the team they are playing who is absolutely horrible. They have 3 points in 12 games and have not scored in the last 5. They came up from 2nd division and look like they are going right back down, so I will lay it.

My pleasure.

Champions League

Astana -125. Early one. Bet this at Even last night so like the big overnight move. Kazakhstan is a tough place to play and this Astana team is tough defensively. They do not lose at home is the CL qualifiers (7W 2D) so I see them winning this one against a Midtjylland team not in the best form right now.

More later.

Hug win for Astana as they scored in the 94th minute!! On a little bit of a streak.

Legia Warszawa -1 -140. Favorite play of the day. Should be a push at worst but they should handle this inexperienced Slovakian team and get at least a 2-0 win at home. They beat Cork City at home 3-0 and this team is worst than them, they just had an easier draw in the last round as they faced a poor Bosnian team.

Legia had no chance in this game. Totally dominated at home by an inferior team. Looks like another coach is getting fired. Sorry about that one.

CL
I will likely play all of these tomorrow morning but I have some time, so here is what I like. Will update in the a.m.

Ludogorets - I will definitely be on them tomorrow. Going to wait to see the line movement, but I see them winning by a couple goals. I also like the Over. Those that follow know they are one of my favorite teams to bet on at home in CL/EL. Betting they score 3 tomorrow.

Celtic -1 - Think they win to nil at home (I think their last 6 or 7 CL qualifier wins have been to nil). Rosenborg just fired their coach so they are a bit in disarray.

Ajax Ov 2.5 . I think the Austrians will get one on the road so I like the over. Also not sure we see Ajax in great form so it could be a sloppy game.

Just took a look at Euro, there are a whopping 46 game. Yes, 46. How the hell can you cap for that. Some big names playing also (Leipzig, Sevilla, Burnley and of course the Lincoln Red Imps!)
