Thanks Crazy, Atalanta decided to show for this one and it was easy.
Lets see if we can keep the daily steak going tomorrow. Not much to choose from so I will go to the opening game of the English Championship for a play.
Derby County Pk -150 - They are certainly a contender once again to advance this year while Reading looks to be a bottom dweller once again. They brought Frank Lampard on as the new manager and got some new talent. I think they are the much better team and I think Lampard will have them fired up.

German Bundesliga 2 starts tonight!
Hamburg and K?ln are the obvious choices to go right back up this year. Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany and this is the first time ever they have ever been in the second division. They have kept most of their team in tact and actually added some players to improve.
Hamburg plays Kiel tonight. In terms of German soccer this is a huge mismatch on paper. Going to keep this simple. Hamburg is the better team, playing in front of 60,000 plus at home, and motivated to go right back up. Hamburg -135 is the play. Over looks good also based on Kiel's styles, but I will stick to the home win here.

The Hamburg game was a mess. There could have been 5 goals in the first 15 minutes. Should have stuck with the Over. Hamburg coach is already on the hot seat. You lose the first game at home 3-0 to Kiel you are in some serious trouble. Definitely did not see that one coming.

Villa Pk-120 - Hull lost most of their starters from last year all so I doubt they are ready to start the season, while Villa is mostly in tact, so they should have the advantage here and we are getting a good price.

Astana - One of my favorite home teams to play, plus Zagreb getting a little too much credit here in my opinion. Astana plays extremely well in Kazakhstan. They have won 10 in a row at home and I do not think they have ever lost the first leg of a CL match at home. They are in great form in the league and have to win this at home if they have any chance to advance. We get a nice +130 number.
Qarabag - Another home side I usually like. Azerbaijan is a tough place to play and Qarabag can play defense. BATE got the win in Finland last round, but their road record is not good in this competition. I also like the number here at Even money.
Playing these both now as I like the numbers and would not be surprised to see them move a little overnight.

Surprised I lost both of those. Home teams did not play well today, hoping for a change tomorrow as I like all the home teams.

I will play Paok and see how it goes before I play Celtic as I do not want to do much damage to the bankroll as we enter the season on Friday! I am waiting to get a -2 on Salzburg. It may not happen, but I will see how it moves tonight. They should blow out this team that does not fare well on the road. They lost 4-0 to TNS in Wales and Salzburg is much better than them. If Salzburg comes to play they should win 4 or 5 to nil.

Thanks tt. Good news for me is that I got stuck on a call this afternoon and missed the start of the celtic game so I never bet it. Good bounce back from yesterday.

I am going to stick to my newer Euro strategy in these earlier rounds: focus on totals instead of the ML and focus on teams that look to be significantly better on paper. This worked really well last week so I am doing it again. I will play all these over for the FH and for the game.

Already hit Atalanta FH and Over and the FH for Feyenoord, so I am adding the FH Ov 1 in the Midtjylland game.
Was a good day, would have been great if I would have waited to see the Besiktas lineup before I played the Over. They rested some key offensive players so I would not have played it. No matter, think it was a 5-1 day and a great start to the weekend.
