On the course!
One of my favorites, and surprisingly, from another shitty manufacturer.

One of the first to have the multi-ball function.

Played it all day long.

This was always a tough one for me on Atari

Kaboom!
Activision for Atari 2600. Loved that game, but it got much more difficult with each level.

If you hit 10,000 points.......the mad bomber's expression changes to a surprised face!

Thanks for sharing that video. I could never make it anywhere close to that high, hence not knowing about the change in the mad bomber's facial expression. Ha!

That video...that player must have the reflexes of a damn mongoose!

I was raised on the Atari 2600. Probably got it in 1980. Played it as a kid religiously until the Nintendo 64 in like '85 or '86.
A a far as actual standing arcade games go, my faves in the 80s were Jungle King (I was pretty good at it!) and the game where you did karate and you could get "full point!" for roundhouse kicks or something like that. I forget the name!
There was also an arcade sit-down tabletop game for baseball, and one for tennis that I enjoyed.
Never had by own Sega, but in the early 90s I was hooked on my friend's golf game...I think it was PGA Tour?
Techmo Bowl was one of my faves in the early to mid 90s'. We had tournaments.
Before that I liked RBI baseball.
I stopped playing true video games when a friend introduced me to Micro League Baseball. I thought Micro League was the greatest invention of all time. Used the game disk, GM disk (I think), and the all important stats compiler disk. We would have 162 game seasons. I was in heaven! Certain players always played better for some reason. Rance Mulliniks was great every year!
The reason why I haven't played a video game in almost 25 years is because I would never leave my home; I'd get addicted, so I don't even bother to start playing then. Never played Madden or anything. If I still played video games, I'd be one of those 850-pound guys that you see on the news who needed the fire department to break down my walls to get me out of the house!

Smart move, way back when I was in the "addicted boat" with this game............

I could easily see myself getting sucked in, so I stay away.

Some people now make millions of dollars playing video games, that just adds to the addiction.
