1-0 last night, 3-0 on the week, as I had mentioned, 2 bad teams take the dog typically works, the line on Akron -3 1/2 vs Kent didn't move with almost even money across the board on that game, it ended up as a 4 point win & the cover for home team Akron 31-27 with 73% of the money on the under of 41 1/2? Yowzers!! Won the 7 pt teaser on BG over Ball St, or as Jord says, Testicle State, that ending to the game could have gone either way, Ball St had chances to tie up the game, their kicker sux and BG coach instead of kicking a FG with 4th and a few in the waning moments decided to go for it instead of kicking the FG which would have given BG a 27-21 win, instead they settle for a 24-21 win. Both games went OVER last night, the Dog covered 1 of 2 and both home teams won.
Tonight's card blows honestly, I have only another teaser to play, there's question marks on the health of Wake Forest players and Duke's starting QB Leonard, who tried to play last game only to reinjure himself, the advance line on Duke had them favored by -7, steamed to -12 1/2 then on 10/29 has since gone down 1 point. Wake is 1-4 their L5 games, no attack whatsoever, Duke is just 2-3 using their BU QB mostly with a decent win over NC State, but that's it. The total has also gone from 45 1/2 down to 41, it may go lower before game time. Weather outlook is cooler than usually temps for the RDU area, this is a classic round stadium at Duke so the weather does play here.
TCU & Tech, Tech will play homage to the late great hoops coach Bobby Knight tonight and the Red Faders play well at home and took Oregon to the final few minutes before the BDC pick 6 killed a Tech rally.
USA at Troy, Troy has owned USA for the most part, they're both about even talent wise on Offense & Defense, USA beat Oklahoma State on their resume for this year, but lost to a good JMU team, ULL last weekend and CMU at home 5 weeks ago. Troy on the other hand started out slow this season, and have won 5 straight games by an average margin 19 ppg. They also have a turnover edge over the Jags as well.

Syracuse -2 (5 units) - Syracuse has burned me many times and has made me money other times, they are on a 4 game bender and played 3 straight away losing all of them. Now they are at home in a Conference game and there's no place like home, so with that said, I'm taking the home team as BC has had some tough games of late and could walk into a buzz saw in the Carrier dome tonight! LOSER
Wyoming -5 1/2 - Cowboys just much better at home beating Fresno & Tex Tech, CSU Rams have been relatively quiet in their conference, their best game was at Colorado, and I don't see the Cowboys letting up in this one once they get ahead. Better coach and better running game!! WINNER

Over 54 Jax St/S Car (5 units) Out of conference game for Rich Rod's team who can score, the problem is they give up points too, Gamecocks have not won a game in 4 straight and hungry for a home win, this will be a battle that Rattler could put some air points in, SC 37 JSU 31

Over 49 Penn St/Md - Coach Frank's former stomping land, Nittany Lions have not played well offensively the last 2 games, now they face the Terps whom themselves also have had mediocre play, this is a BIG10 tilt for more than pride and with only 1 loss, Nittany Lions still have a shot at the playoffs at season's end
Minnesota -1 1/2 - Gophers or bust for me, can't back Bielema's team one bit, how bad the Illini played at Nebraska then they got a win at Maryland, Gophers have a turnover edge, the homefield here and seeking a bowl, and at 4-4 SU, they need this game, it's at home and edge goes there!!
Colorado +13 1/2 (5 units) - Buffaloes are a tough team to predict with all their talent yet lack of "D", Beavers themselves can give up points and are better at home then they are on the road, I just sense a 1 score type game and Buffaloes with a win at home for Prime could be that much closer to a bowl game this winter.
USC +3 - Trojans were an advance line favorite then steamed to Huskies side, however, this is in So Cal, both QBs high profile for this coming NFL Draft, USC has revenge on their mind, they can't hold opponents from scoring, yet Huskies should have lost a home tilt 2 weeks ago vs Arizona St as they got a pick 6 to give them the win over the Sun Devils. This game would have gotten much more hype had USC gone undefeated as projected earlier in the season, however, now as a slight home dog, So Cal backers and the home field are hoping they can get the last score to beat the Huskies and they have a 6 turnover margin here which aids So Cal.
Iowa St -2 1/2 (5 units) - Going against Jayhawks here, with or without Daniels at QB, Bean has showed what he can do, he's inconsistent as shown and their big win over the Sooners won't continue at Ames where the Cyclones were opening line doggies now favored by a FG plus or minus a hook, just feel Cyclones "D" will get some opportunities to exploit Bean's miscues. ISU 30 KU 21
Alabama -3 (5 units) - I'm not a huge Bama backer but in certain situations I am, this is an anti Brian Kelly game in which LSU won last year, they put a little bad karma on beating Bama and putting out some disrespect to Crimson Tide program, now at home in Tuscaloosa, I see Milroe getting some opportunities to get to his receivers and the running backs can expose Tigers front 7 where the Tigers give up almost 5 yards per rush attempt. I have Bama winning 35-24 here!!
Over 58 1/2 SMU/Rice - Mustangs vs Owls, Rice not bashful of giving up points at home vs good running programs which the Ponies have it's a small road favorite line like it was at Temple for SMU, and this could be one of those 48-28 type games!!
Over 59 1/2 FA/UAB (5 units) - Both teams "D" stinks and both offenses can put up points, Blazers in the mood to get a home win for Trent Dilfer and the last 9 tilts have averaged slightly over 60 ppg, so this just looks like a UAB 37-35 win at home?
Oklahoma -6 - Sooners last 2 games not playing "D" like they had been playing which has hurt them and coming off a loss to Kansas on the road, now they go on the road for the Bedlam game, Pokes at home have been money this year, beating some teams I thought would have with Mullet Head's team but the Sooners in a revenge situation here, I like Sooner's passing game a bit more than Pokes "D" on the passing game, this has a 7-10 point road win for the Sooners, so I'm counting on! Sooners also with 6 turnover margin over the Pokes.
Over 55 ULM/S Miss (5 units) - both defenses suck, S Miss off a tough road loss at App State last weekend face ULM which gives up 33 ppg but on occasion they can score, and vs S Miss giving up 39, I have no doubt ULM won't put up at least 30 points here. 33-30 type game!
Kentucky -3 1/2 - Wildcats on a 3 game bender and tough loss vs Vols last week, catch Miss State off a big win at home over Auburn and 7-3 win at Arkansas 2 weeks ago, key here will be who is QB for State in this tilt. Will it be Rogers or? I just have a feeling Kentucky at 5-3 can go on the road and win by at least 6 here in Starkvegas!
Over 55 Mo/Ga (5 units) - Should be a heavily watched game with a long winning streak going for 2 time B2B Nat'l Champ Georgia program vs a program on the rise which is scoring at a 34 ppg clip while giving up 23, Georgia is scoring 40 ppg and gives up 15, so I have this one at 41-28 Georgia!!
Florida -3 1/2 - Gators getting no respect, opening as 6 1/2 pt favs now steaming down to nearly a FG at home? Vs the Razorbacks who are burning booster money this season? Something stinks here and if Gators lose this one at home, someone's head is gonna roll, Gator football has gone downhill and the AD ain't gonna carry this one lightly should they lose. Also, Urban Meyer is still a broadcaster and I got a feeling he wants to coach again and Florida is where he's excelled of late, Bowling Green, Utah, before that, then the NFL ate him up. Gators should win this tilt by 6 or more!! Fla 27 Ark 20!!
Miss -3 - Rebs just better overall than Jimbo's boyz, another huge line drop from -5 to -3 in the past few days, all A&M money basically. Ole Miss is 7-1 and only loss to Bama. I'll take the home team here over the inconsistent Lefty Johnson for A&M.

Refs seem to have their money on throwing flags and camera crew can’t keep up with the game on ESPN2.

Also, how many people watched the Flag show last night? One of the worst ref'd game I've watched in a couple weeks last night as the side judge and head ref were flag happy last night and it took away the kids' spirit, mostly on Syracuse sidelines and huddles. I feel like a sore loser on Syracuse so I'll shaddup now!!
