This is what drug-induced rascism does to your brain.

Hopefully he is de-syndicated nationally.

"They chose to live there"

What a nice Christian attitude.

O:

His ratings, as well as the ratings of most of Hitler radio, have been getting killed lately. Not sure if people are sick of the crap, bored cause theres no election or starting to wake up.

My guess is there just tired of the nonsensical noise that comes out of talk radio. Really, talk radio is as offensive as a beer fart in an elevator.

Good to hear from you, Mr. Haskell.

I think a the centrist listeners of intense right wing radio who were once kind of drawn in by the brashness of it are beginning to sober up a bit. Most of us now realize that what fanaticss like Limbaugh spew is dangerous, hypocritical, and absolutely idiotic all rolled into one.

weird thread. I actually agree with points all of you made.

I can't stand Rush. I think he is harmful to the "cause" he is trying to promote, and he is just painful to hear. Rush is not balanced enough, and he never seems to find fault with anything GW does.

Ocelot, I don't think Rush is overly religious, so there's no telling what asshole thing he may say.

There is an entertained logic that is over my head that I would not agree with anyway that says:
1/ People who are homeless, chose to be.
2/ People in Prison chose to be there.
3/ People who live in New Orleans, Malibu chose to do so.
4/ Etcetera
This catastrophy was predicted by Engineers in 2001 and the funds to prevent this was shot down by the US Government.
Good thread. He is a jerk.
Was watching Fox news last night. When a white guy walked out of a Food Mart, the lady said he found food for his children. The black lady with diapers under arm was looting. Huh

Does anyone listen to Rush? Even the most hard-core Republicans I know (I don't know too many because most of my social group are not overly political, but I do have a few) don't like the guy. Their opinion seems to be very close to what 65 stated above.

Hey Saul:

Was out in your neighborhood bout 4 years ago for a wedding. Had a few cocktails outdoors at the Mendicito (?) Inn (Chaplains old place). How does it feel to live in heaven?

The only thing dangerous about Rush is that he feeds the less educated wacks who actually think he makes sense. Unfortuneately, the majority of Americans fall into that catagory.

65, glad to see you feel that way about the Rushmeister. That Savage guy may even be worse. I appreciate your ability to see a middle ground. Interested to know what you think about Randi Rhodes. Not sure if you pick her up down in BG, but she's on Air America.

As much as Rush can't find fault with anything Bush does, Rhodes can't find one thing he's done right. But after all, we are doing exactly what Clear Channell wants us to do. Talk about them, positiive or negative.

Remember, the opposite of love is not hate but rather indifference.

Dan, was it the Fox commentator who made that statement? On the video was it apparent that both the black and the white were going into a store and walking out with food? Wouldn't surprise me though.

By the way for all of you enlightened ones out there, if interested there is a website that identifies where corporate political contributions go. I hope this is okay with Jack but, its called buyblue.org.

I've found it helpful when I have a choice between Walmart and Costco to buy at Costco. Oh yeah, and before any of the neo-nazis thank me for providing them with this website so that they can avoid blue companies and just buy from red ones, thats okay, cause the red ones get most of the business anyway.

If we can take a little away from McDonalds and the other corporate killers of this country, the better off we will be. Remember boys, the destruction of the American way of life will not be as obvious as a big mustachiod, muslim carrying a machine gun at your front door.

It'll be much more subtle and come from within. Right Messers. Farwell, Robertson, Rove, Cheney and Bush.

Savage? by far and away the most reasonable talk show host

here's his disaster plan:

1.No African aid ($15 Billion).

2.No illegal aliens aid ? medical & education ($15-30 Billion).

3.Mine low sulfur coal.

4.House displaced people in army bases scheduled for closure.

5.Price controls on gasoline for 90 days.

Hello Matt:

Do you think our Buckeyes can squeeze by those mighty Redhawks tomorrow? God it hurts to say that.

Eddie

Yes, they are now our Buckeyes, since you're boycotting UC and i'm very pleased about that.

They'll probably struggle tomorrow, despite the talent difference.

Hopefully they aren't looking ahead to the Texas game, because Miami is not that bad.

Agree Lux, why not?

Don't know anything about this Savage person. I find it curious he doesn't want to give aid to Africa or illegals, but says NOTHING about aid to IRAQ!

Kind'a funny huh?

Yeah, that's a good idea for sure. He's not the only one who has proposed that. It's more his total body of work that is...well...you know.

Understood. I hope they do implement this though because it's a great idea. I would also like them to consider some of the bases as a possible locations for new oil refineries if it would be a good fit, but that's a totally different issue.

while on subject of boycotts don't forget United Way who recently cut off all funding to boyscouts--

Per Edward--" Oh yeah, and before any of the neo-nazis thank me for providing them with this website so that they can avoid blue companies and just buy from red ones, thats okay, cause the red ones get most of the business anyway."

Hmmm Which ones would you suggest the looters steal from??

and its neo-cons----

Defining neo conservative is restricting the neo con freedom of thought, it thus, will place him/her in the same box of the neo-liberal who theorizes on paper and tends not to see realities on the ground. Realities change and perspectives change along with realities, while the theory remains static in the books that are taught in universities and in archived debates.

Take the example of the liberal theory on Universal Human Rights and its application to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Could that theory abolish tyranny in Iraq, and implement the fundamental human rights that are the basis of any society to succeed?Saddam Hussein massacred his own people, while being a signatory to all the International human rights treaties at the United Nations Level.

A neo liberal will leave it up to the system, regardless of the consequences of the system failure. A neo con will take action in order to avoid the serious consequences that might arise from grave human rights violations. And if the option is war, then let it be war.
