NBA
San Antonio +3 over New Orleans
The Hornets took care of Dallas with ease, but could the Mavs just have been dried up? The Spurs have a stacked lineup which has won NBA Titles together. Tony Parker brings a whole different look then Dallas did. San Antonio will not be intimidated by the crowd. New Orleans has covered the spread so many times this year that their lines are starting to get over inflated. Look for the Spurs to get the cover and the win.

Detroit -6.5 over Orlando
This line seems very high when you consider the Sixers gave the Pistons all they could handle in game one and Orlando put up fireworks against Toronto. One thing is certain, Orlando will not be raining three pointers in this game like they did against the Raptors. If the Magic cannot shoot the three they really have no chance. Detroit lost game one last round and will not take the magic lightly. Look for the Pistons experience to be a major factor and their defense to be overwhelming. Take Detroit.

NBA Round 2 O/U (19-2 NBA O/U Run): $19
Teddy did it again! Yesterday's sweep of the board included his 19th NBA O/U winner in his last 21 selections, a phenomenal run that has produced over +20 units of profit. Today's O/U from Teddy is $19 and must win or his next NBA play is free.

NHL

3-Units Philadelphia Flyers/Montreal Canadiens UNDER 5.5/-113
(Saturday, May 3, 7:05 pm EST).

Martin Biron and the Philadelphia Flyers will look to close out the Canadiens in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series. Biron has only allowed six goals over the Canadiens last 108 shot attempts for a spectacular .944 SV%. On the Canadiens side it will either be Price or Halak in net as coach Carbonneau has decided to keep it under wraps on which will get the start. Carbonneau hopes that not revealing the starter will befuddle the Flyers heading into Game 5. Goals will be hard to come by as the Flyers penalty killing and goaltending has been spectacular and the must-win situation for the Canadiens will lead them to play with high intensity on the defensive end. Five of the Canadiens six regular season shutouts have come at home this year, one of them being a 1-0 shutout of the Flyers by Casey Price on February 16. Anticipate a low scoring game as both teams will scratching and clawing to get on the scoreboard in this one.

Winning Points Online

NBA. 6-5 first 11 days of playoffs.

10 pm
**PREFERRED
San Antonio over New Orleans* by 6

The Hornets are 5-0 ATS in their last five games as a
home favorite between 0.5 and 4.5 points and they are
6-0 ATS in their last six home games versus a team with
a winning road record.

The Spurs are 1-5 ATS in their last six road games, 4-9 ATS
in their last 13 games as an underdog, and 5-13 ATS in their
last 18 games as a road underdog.

Wow, that automatically means you have to bet on New
Orleans, right?

And then there are New Orleans' 102-78 and 100-75 wins
against the Spurs this season to prove their dominance in the
match-up, right? Wrong.

SAN ANTONIO 98-92

MLB

LA DODGERS (Loaiza) Even over COLORADO (DeLaRosa)

The Dodgers erased an early 3-0 lead last night, crushing
the Rockies and staff ace Jeff Francis 11-6, en route to
their 7th straight victory. They extended their record vs.
lefthanders to 7-3 (+$310 with 6.5 runs per game) and
they'll get another opportunity to square off against a
southpaw tonight. The Rockies are reeling right now
(2-9, -$760 last 11) and they've been ineffective vs.
righthanders all year (8-15, -$700). Look for LA to
continue their winning ways for another day.
