I am excited about the new main event for 153. I think Bonnar going to give Silva serious problems. His height, length, power and experience going to pose some issues for Silva. He not going to come into the fight scared and at what I'm guessing will be in the neighbohood of 5 to1 dog should offer some serious value. Regardless, should be a fun action packed fight

I'm suprised you think that. Bonnar is horribly slow. I really doubt he hits Anderson more than five times. Now if he takes Anderson down it may be different but Bonnar really offers nothing more than a punching bag if you ask me.

I agree Silva has a distinct speed advantage. I just feel with Bonnar's heart, size and yes... skill this will not be an easy fight . In any case as a fan this is a match up I am interested in watching

Forrest wasn't scared either and brought it and got smashed. Bonnar was on top of Kingsbury for three rounds and basically did nothing so what do you think he has new for Silva who is ten times better on the bottom than Kingsbury? Bonnar prolly has no shot at taking Silva down because it isn't his game. Like Lay said he is just a punching bag for Silva and nothing more. When you have heart you also need talent. This is such an average fighter that you are kiding yourself with this nonsense of Zuffa doing a "awesome job" :142smilie This match is a joke. Because the cards have sucked lately Kick. I'm as big a mma fan as it gets but lately I've been missing cards left and right because I have no desire to watch them. I know there have been injuries but there should still be enough good fights to make me want to watch the cards.

The one idea I have is to only have a set number of weight classes on each card. Let's say three. So for UFC 154 you would have HWs, MWs and fly. So you have 3 or so fights from each weight class. Then for each class you have one fighter training that's not on the card but a backup for anyone who goes down. A fighter who would be a good draw. The problem here is that Zuffa would have to pay them no matter what and if they did fight they would get another fight bonus. That way you don't have problems finding fighters that are ready and worth watching.

Kick, all i did is point out that a guy threw and amateur punch that a child should have been able to slip, and knocked out a guy out who should be in a tough man competitions not the UFC. As for asking Lay "why would you say a card sucks without viewing it first":facepalm: A Dana line if i ever heard one. He say's this all the time and u parrot it like a good ole Zuffa Zombie. Of course Sponge misses fights and then complains about em, ya know so he can feel happy. All Sponge does is complain.

You can't complain about how bad a movie sucks if you don't watch it, and the same goes for MMA.

Do not say a "card sucks" if you don't even watch it. There have been some incredible cards that didn't get much hype and vice versa.
