Comments: Our geographic location has allowed us the ability to cover the SEC and Sun Belt Conferences over the years with great success. This is evidenced by our record on our Top College Football Play which is our SEC Platinum Game of the Year and it's career record stands at 13-4-1 ATS! On to today's game, North Texas was able to snap South Alabama's 13 game win streak, 70 to 68 and now focus their attention on Florida International. This is a revenge situation for the Mean Green as they were defeated last season on a last minute 3-pointer by this Florida International team. The Mean Green welcome the Golden Panthers to the Super Pitt where they have posted a 3-1 SU record against them and an overall 6-2 SU winning mark in this series. Last season's edition of the Mean Green were conference champions and this group has a chance to repeat with a 13-7 SU overall record. This team will also go down in history as one of the best shooting Mean Green teams ever. NT is 40.6% from behind the arc and 72.0% from the charity stripe. NT is 10-1 SU at the Super Pit this season. Florida International has not won on the road this season posting an 0-8 SU record to date. They are also only averaging 58.1 points per game on the highway while allowing 73.9 points per game. These numbers are key here as we know North Texas is almost unbeatable when it reaches 80 points but it is almost as strong when they score 70+. NT is 50-12 when they score 80 points or more and 87-44 when they reach at least 70 points per game. NT is a solid 13-3 this season when they score at least 70 points.
