Oh Canada!! Great call Kid, probably the most I ever won on a woman's game as all I played was the 3-way. Way to stick to your guns.

Will take half of those winnings and throw it on the German woman, I just don't see Sweden getting lucky 3 games in a row.

Laying off the USA mens hoop game since they finally covered. Think the line is spot on but would probably play the US if I had to make a bet. Spain, like Argentina, isn't what they used to be.

Keep watching Germany men's line inch higher. Going to see if I can get to +300 and then going to hit it. Really think they are the better team man to man and the pressure on Brazil is tremendous.

Line has jumped from -140 to -150 so getting a bet in now and may add. Also will put Canada women plays in now. GOing down fighting with them as I still, even in 3rd place game feel they are undervalued. in now as well.

Germany 6.5* to win 5*
Canada +1 6.5* to win 5*
Canada 1* to win 4.3*
Canada FH +.5 5* to win 5.5*
Canada TT over .5 6* to win 5*
Canada to win either half 1* to win 2.1*
Canada to record a shutout 1* to win 6.5*

If a first half spread gets posted i''ll play that as well. only see 3 way line as of now.. For those of you tat think thats ridiculous to put so much on a 3rd place womens game... well then dont lol..

Thanks Bason! I wish I got sweptthe board but missed out on the shutout by 12 minutes or so I heard... cleaned up nicely though for sure.. I still dont understand how or why Canada was so undervalued?? I just cant imagine anyone watching those games and how they played seeing them as such big underdogs against these other squads.. I still say they were better than Germany and should be in the Gold game. I watched Canada play and thought they may have been the best team , especially after USA was out... apparently bookmakers had them as one of the worst with regards to how the lines were set.. just shrugging my shoulders on that

anyhow +2.8* on year with Germany above pending! great day

Oh canada indeeed!!!!!

Whew! So glad Nigeria hung on to win....but now for a little soccer rant.

I had Nigeria and those last few minutes are everything I hate about the sport. I'm not a huge fan anyway, but I can get into it for short periods of time....mostly the men's and women's world cup.

That said---STOP THE DAMN CLOCK. Just total lack of sportsmanship being rewarded when a simple rule change could be made. Honduras comes back from 3-0...makes it 3-2.

I know its "part of the game" and its there to use...but at least every other major sport has a set way to run clock. Games have evolved where you can't use substitutions and injuries to run clock. Its just trash...its 2016 and they act like its 1950.

I'd like to see more tweaks to the game but if nothing else....just change the clock issues. A guy gets hurt...stop the clock. A substitution....stop the clock.

Sorry for long-winded rant but its just horrible. I have no problem when a football downs the ball to win the game....the other team has timeouts and there is a play clock.

Go Germany!!

It was a hideous day of soccer. Premier league was marred by poor play and worse officiating. The Arsenal game was horrible. Like I said before Wegner needs to be fired. I didn't post or bet it because he is an idiot. Finally puts in his starting team in the 75th minute. They win if they start the game. Just makes me nuts. These teams are not prepared to start the season. Hull has 6 points, enough said. That's my rant!

Go Germany!

I agree on West Ham, but that line keeps moving to the plus side. Not sure I understand why and it is starting to scare me away.

Taking Atletico Madrid today -1.5. They should dominate this game and they have put together a stronger team after spending a lot of money. While Griezmann is out, I really like Gameiro and think he will have a good year there. Alaves is up for the first time in over 10 years after making their way back from 3rd Division. I think they get a nice welcoming back to La Liga in Madrid today.

It was a disappointing weekend in soccer for me. Premier League was some of the worst quality I have seen in a long time. Atletico should have won 5-0, but that is how it goes especially at the beginning of the season. West Ham pulled it out, but they did not look good either. Can't remember ever having my week saved by the women!

Champions League was bad for me last week. Will probably play one game per day to limit the exposure. Roma looking like the first play since they seem to be playing very well and Porto is never great away from home.

Will get to work on capping Germany since this is the first full weekend of plays.

No worries Pittsburgh, its been a lot of fun.

Time for me to gear up for some college football but I'll still look at the occasional soccer game....and looking forward to next summer as well....I've gradually become at least a part-time fan!!

Really wish Germany had won the men's....they had some chances. When they finally tied it up, I thought they had it. Hate PK's but I understand that at some point, you gotta go to them. Oh well....will talk again very soon!! :)

You're always welcome TD. Check in during the year all year!

Champions league plays 8/23

Roma 3* to win 2*
Victoria Plzen 3* to win 3*
Celtic PK 2* to win 2.3*
Celtic 1* to win 1.9*

Smallish type plays. Feel as BASON said above, Roma at home should handle Porto, Victoria is a strictly home field play.. And Celtic is just a better team kind of play (in my opinion) with good odds for this situation...Tread lightly I suppose..

EFL cup

Chelsea FH 5.1* to win 3*
Liverpool FH 3.9* to win 3*
Liverpool -1 8* to win 4*
Liverpool -1.5 2.3* to win 2*
Exeter 1* to win 3* EPL VS 4th league and only +300. I'll bite.
Peterborough +.5 2.8* to win 2*
Stoke FH 2* to win 2*

Klopp has made a point that this cup will be a priority to win and with them off an awful loss to burnley I expect an inspiring performance

That Hull line stood out to me right away also. Stevenage is in the same situation playing Stoke and they are +525 and Exeter is +300. Very strange.

Overnight line movement is Roma game was large as it moved from -144 to Ev. That always scares me a little bit but I am sticking with them. 0-0 draw gets them through, but Porto only knows and attacking style and Roma should be able to counter. I tend to like teams that come home and can win and still not advance. Plzen and Sheva fall into this today. Your on Celtic, so I will stick with small Plzen play.

Couple of Bundesliga 2 games looking good for Fri/Sat!
