Didn't like much yesterday so I actually took a full day off in soccer, first time in a while. Need to start paying more attention to teams off Champions League games as many struggled in England, Germany and Italy. Going to be an angle I will be watching.

Everyone is expecting another tight low scoring game from Man U and Chelsea today as it is an important game in the standings. Plus Man U completely parked the bus in the Liverpool game. Mourinho is complaining once again about the short rest due to the Euro game on Thursday as they are short handed on defense. Chelsea has feasted against the bottom half of the league and struggled against Liverpool and Arsenal. Have a feeling Man U attacks more aggressively in this game and it will be the opposite of the Liverpool game. You can bet that Mourinho wants this game against his old club I am going against the grain and taking the Ov 2.5 +110.

Also throwing a little on Schalke Ev today at home. Mainz expended a tremendous amount of energy in their home Euro game on Tuesday. I do not expect a huge effort from them on the road today, so I think Schalke can get the home result.

Thanks, bud. Looking for a quick buck I threw $100 on the over 2.5.

Too easy :0074

Thanks!! Not exactly what I expected, but a win is a win. Your more than welcome Situation, glad people are reading and making some $$.

Schalke won easily also should have bet a little more on that one as Mainz was dead. As was Man City and Atletico Madrid today. Champions League hangover is real.

Thank God for soccer because the NFL is simply becoming unwatchable, just a bad product right now and its all the NFL's fault (a rant for another day)!

I will ride some MLS with you Kid since you know I know nothing about that League (nor do I ever watch it, but might start on Sundays given how bad the NFL is!)

Cup Days

I enjoy Cup games. Always some good situational betting if you can figure out who is motivated and always some interesting lines. As such, I play all of these games small.

Germany - Dresden-118 and Hertha Berlin-132. Both of these plays are more plays against the teams they are playing. Bielefeld has been awful lately, so I will continue betting against them until they show something. St. Pauli is a complete mess right now. In last in second division, coach went mental on tv the other day. I think they will be motivated but they are simply the lesser team and I think Berlin wants to win.

England - Liverpool -150 and Bristol City+125. Klopp loves Cup games and I think they will be highly motivated to win, hence the line. Tottenham has been struggling to score goals and I think they are more focused on being in shape for League play. The line dictates the Bristol play for me. Premier vs Championship and Hull decent size dog. Their focus should be on fighting to stay in the Premier League, not the Cup, so a Bristol win would not surprise me at all.

Back later for day 2.

Cup Day 2

Will try to do better than a split today. Loved watching Leverkusen lose to a 3rd division team yesterday. What the Cup is all about.

England - Manchester Derby today. While both teams may rest some players today, both want to win this game. Man U needs some redemption after being humiliated by Chelsea this weekend. Man City has also been in bad form and has big Champions League game coming next week. I honestly have no clue who wins this game today but I expect some goals today so playing the Ov 2.5 -115. Second game in England may surprise some as I am going to take West Ham +.5 +120. Yes, they have been terrible at home in League play and mostly overall this season, and yes Chelsea just destroyed Man U. However, this game offers some redemption for West Ham on the season if they can win and we are getting some good value in the line. I will take a shot with them here.

Germany - I have been right on with Nuremberg lately as they have started to get on a roll in Bundesliga 2 play. However, I think this is a tough spot for them today against a Schalke team that have started to play much better. As such, I will take Schalke -108. Second play is Dusseldorf/Hannover Ov 2.5 -125. Teams are very familiar with each other and I expect them both to attack so should see 3 goals here.

Going to limit it to two plays even though I like a few more German games today. I also like Darmstadt -1 and the over in the Mainz game.

Man U is putting an A team on the pitch today while Man City is resting more players. Looks line Mourinho wants the win so I am going to play Man U +110.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
well, I went 1-5 in my first posting here, a few weeks back!...but trying again:

07:45 PM EST SOC [224830] Atletico Nacional -1-127 (Copa Sudamericana)
07:45 PM EST SOC [224829] TOTAL o2-134 (Coritiba vrs Atletico Nacional)
07:30 PM EST SOC[209802] Toronto FC -1-103 over Philadelphia

this is second part of a home and home series, quarterfinals in this tournament. Atletico dominated the 1st game, at Coritiba, but was red flagged early and Coritiba managed to actually tie it up near the end, 1-1. You can see the highlights here on youtube... But now Atletico is at home, where they haven't lost in a damn long time, let alone to average Brazilian teams who are very mediocre on the road and more interested in avoiding relegation that focusing on these intercontinental matches...The Brazilians will be without their captain and key player Nery Bareiro, and Atletico has some injuries too, not key ones, but like their opponent - defense will not be as strong.

Good stuff Terry, I will throw a little of today's profits (4-1 on Cup plays) on Nacional. A friend really likes Toronto tonight so I already put a little on them.
