Fighting Argentinians!!!!!!

Live betting on Argentina +0.5 goals when they were down 3-0 was at 49-1 odds, and the 49-1 odds cashed:scared

First time ever a team in Women's World Cup history a team was down 3-0 in second half and got the draw.

yea ?it?s the right call? but man that?s so not something i want replay to be here for

That is what replay is for, to make the right call, the goalie was off the line. You always want the right call in any sport, and the right call was made. The goalie must have one foot on the line and she wasn't even close.

Now the thing that is really stupid in VAR is in the Argentina game was the game should have gone on for another 5 minutes. FIFA totally blew it with the way they (and the ref) fucked over Scotland from getting the 4th goal. Should have been at least 5 more minutes played.

How the fuck can you fuck up the time, just pathetic:nono:

Exactly what I was saying. There is no way you can justify 4 minutes. Should have been at least 8. This tournament just continues to get worse and worse. There is no excuse for that kind of incompetence.

And I agree about the penalty. Proves the point I made earlier above, that is not what VAR should be used for. The penalty was saved no matter what, just like the France miss was made no matter what. VAR should not be used to make that call.

See post number 403, yep how the fuck do you fuck that up on such a big stage?

Of course soccer has always been a complete fucking joke with the way they keep track of the time. How one ref can have the official time on their watch and nobody else know how much time is left is absolutely ridiculous, it is so moronic you just have to laugh:142smilie

You imagine if in the NFL/NBA/NHL if nobody knew how much time was on the clock, fucking hell:facepalm:

Yes there is....soccer has always been a complete joke when it comes to the clock, the fact that only one person knows how much time is left is just comical:142smilie

I mean think about it, it's just so friggen stupid.

This VAR is so fucked, but it?s never going away. No sport ever has gone away from technology once implemented.

You?ll get 2 types of people supporting it. The ?WOW, what a story line. How can you not like VAR, everyone?s talking about this game! How exciting? crowd. And the ?why DON?t you want the letter of the law, correct calls, even if it grinds the game to a halt and makes it a farce? crowd. Let?s go ahead and add VAR to the NFL and mark off 10 yards on every single down due to holding on an interior line man away from the play or defensive holding on a WR on a run off tackle. Or the NBA and bring back every play for fouling and make it a free throw contest.

But i hate replay I?ll live with wrong calls as I?ve said before , wrong calls have happened since beginning of sports I?m not one to care my favorite teams have lost And won because of bad calls anf I?ve won and lost bets because of bad calls I?m not one that needs it for correctness,. I don?t need it to be absolutely perfect there?s nothing perfect in the world

Women?s

Argentina has proved me wrong ,think Scotland has also had a good showing . With that said i think getting Argentina +1.5 is a steal .. I?m pretty sure every team shutout in first 2 games have scored in 3rd so far..

Argentina +1.5 20* to win 10*
Argentina fh +.5 7.5* to win 5*
Argentina TT over .5. 5.6* to win 4*
Argentina PK 2* to win 6*

Japan/England under 2.5 10* to win 5*
England PK 10* to win 5*

Talking about time keeping in soccer. I have always thought they should have some sort of stop time the way north American sports do. Something like have a first half that?s 45 minutes run the way it is now have a second-half that?s only 40 minutes long but after 30 minutes of regular time every stoppage stops the clock. you could flash a 10 minute clock up on the board everyone would know teams can?t dick around with throw ins free kicks goal kicks etc. It is excruciating now with the human time delays by the winning team. Can?t do that in any other sport that I can think of.

Video review. I?m with the kid on this. Completely stops the flow of the game, and they don?t always get it right. Maybe 65-70% of the time, which isn?t good enough. Hockey playoffs a good example where two game changing goals which were clearly blown calls could not be reviewed ,but an offside by a micro meter that happened 2 minutes before the goal is reviewable???

Yea not sure what the decisions were but whatever they decided it?s not working.. I?d be shocked if Argentina won this, I don?t see a chance in hell from what I?ve seen to this point
