Ladies on TSN are pissed.. saying USA should be embarassed and it was a disgrace celebrating the way they did goal after goal once it was sure it was a blown out... they should have shown some humility etc...

Here?s my take, you know how you shut them up? Beat them .. I agree the celebrations may be were too much for the last few goals but Pugh was her first WC goal early and I?m sure it?s just human nature to get excited ... but if you beat them you?ll shut them up ...

I?m all for it , i remember London Olympics Canada should?ve beat us in the knockout stage we were extremely lucky and fortunate to beat Canada... they were the better team that game ...Sinclair was unreal

And I think there?s something to hammering teams.. gives off a perceived dominance like the old Soviet hockey teams that used to run roughshod over everyone by double digits. Sometime you have teams beat before you even step on the field

Same with UConn women hoops.. they embarrassed everyone people were best before games .. until they were beat

Thanks man. People love 5 dimes but for soccer there is no better site than bovada..it?s hands down the best in my opinion and I take full advantage.. seriously USA winning and btts score no at -250 was as free of money as you could get

I?ve been drinking and slightly inebriated so forgive grammar errors or whatever but i need to say this just because the bear was poked by a friend in my FB so I?m gonna say this because i can and it?s my thread lol if people disagree that?s fine I always welcome everyone?s opinions here and always will ..

And the following is me

?I?ll say it anyhow because that comparison annoys me cause people day it because of ?results? . there is nothing I hate more than that exact comparison,, EVERY Country in the world plays men?s soccer the one reason why our women?s team is so successful is because the women here have more rights for a lot longer than other countries therefore they were able to play things such as professional sports whereother countries the women didn?t have those rights.. Plus our country offers a lot more sports than other countries are best athletes don?t play soccer... imagine if Michael Jordan LeBron James played soccer their whole life and put the same effort in the basketball as they did soccer. Plus soccer st the youth level is Corrupt, I know because I?m involved in it., rich people have a huge advantage over skillful poor or middle class people.. traveling soccer to be on the best teams cost a lot of money.. and if you don?t have it regardless of your talent they will take the person with the money because it?s all about making money which is terrible.. also a story from John harkes which shows our issues... he once told a story he was asked to scout college players at a tryout for a professional team out west.. he didn?t say the team name but he gave his opinions and a player he listed in his top 5 was from
A division 3 school. The pro team immediately said not interested because he was not D1 ?talent? even though his skill appeared to be d1 level according to harkes... the problem is someone playing d2 or d3 might not be because of just talent but other circumstances out of someone?s control. (I played D2 soccer that?s as far as my talents were going to go lol) Money, overlooked, staying closer to home for family reasons etc but because he was not D1 he was not taken seriously.. our best players are overlooked and I see it often.. a player with money even if not as talented will make a ?cup team? over someone more talented and without the means to fund the travel and expenses. Youth soccer at the top level is expensive as fuck... 10s of thousands dollars , every weekend a different city all over America... unless you?re stable enough to drive thousands of miles take off work or buy plane tickets almost weekly
During the season you aren?t going to be on the team.. other countries do not have this, if you?re good enough you?re on the team. Cup teams and youth soccer here are in it to make money not make better players or

This isn?t to give the men ?excuses? they have work to do and lack many things but just as other countries are behind us in basketball we are like that in soccer.. yea we can and should do things a lot better but it honestly starts at the youth level where we are fucked up.. not to stereotype but urban kids don?t have the same chance at soccer as they do basketball and it?s a shame because of finances.. people in USA soccer and youth soccer are all Talk ?we wanna get better ? until you put money where mouth is you can shove it .. u til youth soccer is less about making money and more about improving the soccer I?m not interested .. I have girls on my HS team who play Cup, and just as with anything there are good teams and coaches and bad teams but one thing about all of them is [emoji383]I?m not involved in ?cup? coaching anymore because of it . Our HS has become very good, wasn?t always that way took lots of work but now we compete for state titles and we never and I never have cut a player in my life. If you come out you?re in the team. You may not play but you?re integral to our success whether jv or in practice .. there?s a lot to be said for players who work their asses off in practice and push the starters to not take a practice off .. cup teams don?t give that chance .. ive has girls that barely play unless blowouts but their experience apart of our teams means the world to them..


No reason for anyone to read this just one soap box lol sorry for clogging this up. People May disagree or change my mind with valid points but for some reason wanted to put this out there [emoji23]

I know I have mistakes and after posted I try to edit when I see them but I believe in posting stuff that others can play and sometimes grammar is fucked upbut most of times yizn can figure it out lol) when drinking especially lol ... i really do post every single play i make for soccer and love

Sorry bro but was a season tickets holders for as long as i could afford (about 15 years) and my first game at Three Rivers Stadium was ages ago... saw several AFC Championship Games at Pitt and Lemieux and Jagr at the Igloo... Like you i'm a teacher (humanities) but i'm pretty sure there are still some spots i haven't visited so yeah i'll take your offer next time i hit Pitt! :0008:00hour:SIB Won't be this Fall however as i can't afford it but yeah it would be nice to see next time i'm around! :SIB
