Home conference Game tonight going for 4-0. Down 2 starters (both forwards) nursing injuries , nothing major . We?re deep so it?s also good to get other players experience ..

Saturday?s away match should be live on YouTube , I?ll post the link if so .

Champions league

Still think Kiev is the better team just as last round when lone went against me.

Kiev 5* to win 10*
Kiev +.5 17* to win 10*
Ferencvarosi 3* to win 6.6*
Ferencvarosi/molde fh draw 2* to win 2*
Ferencvarosi +.5 16* to win 10*

Not much a fan of other matchups. Ferencvarosi is a dog here but i think they?ve been more impressive in CL and overall

Nice calls here, bang on! I can't complain, but Ferencvarosi choked away that game. They were up 2-0, and Molde put them in a high press, and these guys couldn't get it out of their box for about 15 minutes. It was complete domination. Lucky to actually tie it back up, after giving away 3 unanswered goals.

Girls Won 7-0 tonight!! Maintenance day tomorrow for them

Goal of year candidate corner kick volley roofed it

4-0 as long as we take care of business Saturday vs our rival it sets up the first of two showdowns of the year.. I think we?re top 2 in our district, the problem is the defending district champs is in our conference so we have two battles with them prob for top seed in playoffs. The other thing that sucks is it?s a catholic school who in the last 3 years have cherry picked some top end talent from Various communities.. which is why I stated I?m so proud of what we have built because we are a public school and we build down to elementary school with who lives in our district..first game is at their place next Tuesday (they play on natural grass, well practice leading up to it on our grass field) last game of regular season they come to ya October 20th.. but we have lots to do Saturday before that first showdown..

If the selection process is legit and it usually is not. We should be the top 2 seeds in playoffs and only meet in final but we?ll see . They don?t like giving top 2 to teams in same conference.. either way neither of us should be lower than three which would guarantee we wouldn?t play each other until the final

EPL - this line is whacked in my opinion

Burnley 5* to win 10.1*
Burnley +.5 16* to win 10*
Burnley pk 5* to win 6*

I also feel Leicester is getting totally dismissed and disrespected. I can get Leicester +2.5 for -230..

This will (hopefully) be my last rant on this streaming topic...

Apparently ESPN has bought the rights to the Bundesliga and put it on another streaming platform. I cant tell you much my excitement for Saturday and Sunday EPL games has dropped since not all games are shown on cable. This country has talked for years and years about growing the game of soccer here in America. As we say that, we are making it harder and harder for Americans to watch on cable and that?s a damn shame. Currently if my math is correct, EPL, serie A, Bundesliga, and champions league are all on streams now and it seems by the month more and more games are going online. This is not going to help grow the sport in my opinion and someone like me who is hard core soccer my whole life and can watch any match, has lost some interest because i don?t get to see every game i want. Imagine people just getting into the sport and having it taken away or teams they may be falling into liking not being shown on tv..

America -?we want to grow the sport of soccer in the Us?

Also America ?but we want to get every dime out of people before we start helping grow it .. if we can?t that, then the American public doesn?t really want soccer?

It?s a complete sham and pisses me off more by the day.

Think about this, the 3rd biggest sporting even in the world, champions league is not able to be seen by everyone. Imagine in Europe telling people they can?t watch games on tv and have to stream it and lay extra on top of laying the crazy amount for cable.. it?s almost like these networks are buying the rights to hurt the growth of soccer in America by stashing them on streams. How many networks does ESPN, fox, nbc, etc have and instead of showing sportscenter for the 8th straight time maybe they can toss a game on, or same with nbc..

I?ve had enough of this bs

PIAA , governing body for Hs sports in PA just announced state playoff decisions for this year. Soccer is only having one team from each district qualify which is terrible for us as we usually have 3-4 qualify because of the depth of our district. The other team in our conference and us could very well be 2 of the top 10 teams in the entire state and one of us will be home . That?s the rules everyone has to play by so it is what it is.. just no room for error at all, perfection is needed.. imagine the EPL or la Liga only being allowed one qualifier for champions league..

PISSED OFF

With you 100% on games being put behind paywalls. Ever since NBC started showing premier league I've really gotten into it, and as a result would watch Bundesliga and La Liga games.

When they went gold in order to watch games streaming I did not care -- as long as there were games on cable at the usual times it did not bother me whatsoever.

I'm just one guy, but I started watching, I started getting my friends into it, I even got my 93 year old grandfather watching soccer!

They made a conscious decision to rake the hardcore fans over the coals for every nickel they can get out of them, and effectively said "screw growing this", as you pointed out.

I consider myself a huge fan of European soccer. I bet all of the leagues from premier to Denmark to freaking Belarus.

But I refuse to spend another dollar on another streaming service. I like watching sports on my TV, through the cable provider I spend close to $300 a month on.

I think they made a massive mistake. And whatever audience they think they had, will shrink exponentially. Streaming has jumped the shark, and I have had enough.

I?m very glad you posted this, I?m a hardcore soccer lifer and I?m fed up with it . If soccer doesn?t grow in this country going forward, the networks will have a lot of the blame. The last 5 years saw huge growth because of the coverage.its shocking they threw all that away

Conference Game, starts at 1, should pop up on their page around then. The team were playing today historically likes to sit behind the ball. They don?t have a real threat attacking threat but do well yearly with their style..public school so they are coaching with what they have in the community and I can respect that as far as how they play that?s how they have to play to be successful

The team were playing their boys team has probably won about 10 state championships in the last 25 years, a soccer factory. Always wondering why I didn?t translate to girls in the community.. boys soccer not football is the most popular sport in their school which is cool

100% agree. I remember the 2004 Euros being PPV. I didn?t particularly enjoy paying for each game I watched, but I was happy I could watch any match I wanted to see and got that they had to make their money somehow with a ?niche? event in the US. They made money by forcing a relatively small but very passionate audience to fork over 20 bucks to see a game. Kinda made sense at the time.

Then, the EPL on NBC, ESPN picking up the Euros, Fox getting the CL all brought great soccer to basic cable and over the air. The ratings were good and growing. I know NBC was getting some nice ratings and ad revenue for EPL.

But, now all these companies want to make people sign up for their streaming services and try to be netflix. That?s where the money is. It?s hot. It?s what they are being told they need to do to be a relevant media company in 2020. It?s all about the streaming impressions. So, what do they do? They go back to the old model of trying to force passionate soccer fans to pay for their streaming. But, guess what? Unlike PPV of olden times (and netflix), they?re still selling commercials on their streaming platforms. They?re double dipping. Forcing the people who they believe are hooked and will pay for the streaming to see their team play while also still selling commercials to advertisers.

It?s such bullshit. And. As someone on the west coast where CL games along with other big night games are on at lunch time, I?d watch at a pub. It was great. Over the years, regulars who didn?t even like or know anything about European soccer got into it. They went from thinking it was a girls game to knowing the different leagues and competitions. Making dude bets, etc. Now? Fuck. It?s a disgrace and ultimately will massively hurt what had been tremendous ratings growth in the US.
