We absolutely dominated the game didn?t even give Up a shot!!!! 3-0 going to finals !!!! North Catholic won in overtime we have that rematch wanted!!! Saturday noon at gateway for 3rd installment . Going to be an absolute battle

Our girls have not forgetting how they acted after winnning the conference (clapping in our girls faces walking off the field) and what they did in order to win.. we wanted them the girls wanted them.. we need to take care of business. Especially with Covid rules this year only one team from every district in state makes state playoffs so this game has so much meaning.. if we win we also go straight to quarterfinals of states don?t have to play a play in match
Our conference gets so disrespected every year but in the last 3 years including this one we have had 4 teams form our conference play in district finals and 2 this year

Funny, I was going to post a 3-0 prediction but did not want to jinx it! No great soccer teams in Westmoreland County!!
Best of luck with the rematch. I am sure they will not forget, but I would get a little fired up in the pre-game. Can be hard to motivate girls the same way you do with guys, but you have a unique situation to take advantage of and you really want to come out strong from the start and show them how tough this game is going to be. I think the pre-game is the time to let off a little of that anger you still have buried from that one. If they are competitors, they will respond.
I should be able to watch, so I wish you well and have every confidence this game will be different!!

Thanks guys appreciate it.. sucks only District winners around state go to state tournament but we know what we have to do . Our girls are ultra competitive they will be fired up.

I honestly feel we were by far the better team in both games, the 0-0 tie and 2-1 loss. The loss, we were up 1-0?with 20?mins left then the elbow happened.. I find it hard to believe with our team we?ll play a team 3 times And not win 1 but they are the defending champs .. it will be one of the most physical girls games ever

I agree, but the one thing you certainly learn in playing and betting on sports is that the best team does not always win. And there is part of your speech!! Despite being the better team, you always need to do just a little more to win, whether it is making the extra pass or hustling to contest the ball, etc.
I always loved the speech Al Pacino gave in Any Given Sunday about fighting for that inch because it makes all the difference.

Absolutely agree about best teams not always winning. Regardless what happens tomorrow I?m very proud of these girls especially in a trying year. Pulled out the herb brooks quote tonight about great moments are born from great opportunity.. told the girls no matter what happens tomorrow I?m very proud to be apart of this team with them... then when i was Done one of our girls who is a senior said, we appreciate you and everything you say and do for us but .. we?re not losing tomorrow and that?s all there is to it..
I love The confidence and the belief they have. I believe In this team and believe they rise to the moment. It will Be the most people they will have ever played in front of.. with Covid in PA were allowed 25% capacity so 1.250 tickets were sold between both schools, communities etc
With that said sleeping tonight will be hard.
Also told them I?m Tired of hearing about how great they are with everything I read.. it?s time to change the narrative and after the gsme tomrorow we need to make people talk about how great we are because yinz deserve it it

Sorry Kid, that was a tough one. You dominated possession but just could not get one in. Was just a great free kick, other than that, I thought your girls dominated the game.

Thanks guys so much for the compliments sand actually watching the gsme.. that?s amazing the community we have here with people have have no even met.. I don?t even know where to start.. the first 10 mins you could tell we were nervous but settled in. Our possession passing was not as good today but still controlled play for most of the match i feel. I think Without the free kick they don?t score in the run of play.. the same girl who elbowed our girl and knocked her out last match is the one who stamped on our left backs leg today and broke her lower leg... but that?s their culture and the coach obviously allows it .. hitting the post early and then late off a header i just Feel the word to use for today was unlucky.. the effort was phenomenal and there?s nothing they should be ashamed of. Not sure if anyone has every coached 25+ girls but seeing the devastation and tears after the match is tough and shows how much they care.. it?s tough but I told them their heads should be held high and when we finally reflect on the season we?ll relax one how special it was. If not for Covid we would still be playing but we knew what we had to do.. i guess After 3 games and only drawing one and losing 2-1 and 1-0 to them were not the better ?team? but god damn if I don?t think we still our but obviously it?s results driven and you gotta win.. the girl who score their goal on free kick is the girl who scored 60 goals as a freshman then was recruiters and transferred to n catholic last year.. they have 2 other big time transfers that came in last year and it sucks We have to deal with that but that?s the rules and what?s allowed in our state. Not sure how it is In other states but I?m proud of what we are and wha we do with just our community and on the cusp of greatness. I have no doubt barring injuries we?ll be back next year as the one incoming freshman coming in will be able to pick any college in the country to play for.. and I?m not just saying that.. North Carolina FSU UCLA .. she?s that good and she?s being added to this team as a freshman next year..
I?m proud of our performance and the culture we?ve built. It?s not the ending we want but like I told the girls in our classification unless you win states in Hershey every team but one will end the way they want to. It?s not easy and getting to our district finals was a great feat

My pleasure Kid!! Not quite as good as the Bayern game but I enjoyed watching it.
Hopefully the great freshman coming in is a goal scorer, because if you add a great offensive player, you guys will be strong since you have some good younger players on defense. The freshman Italian girl that got hurt is going to be a beast.
The guys announcing the game actually were not that bad.

Thanks for kind words bason.. awesome stuff, yes Gianna is a stud it?s a shame her season ended that way. At halftime she was begging us to let her go back in and try and play... girl coming in is a central mid.. think of A Zidane type of player.. i beleive At the end of the gsme we had 4 freshman on the field plus Gianna who was hurt.. ..

Not sure if picked up on it but Ava who is our leading scorer will be a D1 keeper penn state looking at her.. she?s prob the best keeper in the state.. but with high school you gotta find a way to get tour best 11 on the field.. she?s a fantastic field player too and our keeper is a solid D2 keeper prob and is not a good field player.. so not bad for a non field player primary position

They did mention that and said that is where she plays on her club team. I think they said she was going to Pitt.
She may go to Pitt her sister who graduated 2 years ago plays at Pitt
