And one last thing about our game today I can definitely confirm as a coach and seeing our players the first time you get to a big big stage like we did today (we have big games and state games but not a ?championship? state or district )there are definitely nerves and that?s something that is just something you can?t prepare for.. After the first 10 minutes of today?s game we settled in but I could definitely tell with our touches or miss place and our passes nerves definitely were there which is totally understandable

Just curious that?s all, if you know. What does your state do for high school with regards to private schools and public schools if anything? Obviously we have to beat who?s in front of us but a part of me sees and feels the advantage those types of schools have over us who is building through the community from grade school on up. I feel like it?s so easy and takes no talent to pilfer the best players from various communities. It is what it is I?m just curious what other states do for high school sports and if it?s any different from Pennsylvania

In Maryland, private schools and public schools have always been separate. Same in DC and Virginia.

I think it is ridiculous that publics and private schools are in the same divisions given how private schools can not only recruit across geography, but can provide scholarships. If you are forced to attend a public school solely based on where you live you should not have to compete in a conference with privates that have no restrictions.

I thought they were trying to change it in PA to be more like NJ where it is separate and then the public winners plays the private winners.

If we had advance we would have won first state game and would be playing Bedford tonight. That may be where our run ended in state semis.. Bedford over the last 3 years is 55-1-1 with a state championship and outsourced opponents 108-2 today although that play many weaker teams I?ve seen then win by 2 touchdowns which is not necessary one game they won by three touchdowns and a two point conversion.. with that said in the last three years they did win a state championship so I?m very interested to see how the North Catholic Delta9 against them. Bedford beat a traditional power from Erie in the first round by five

North won 2-0 just shows how close we were to Hershey and state finals but wasn?t meant to be.. next year giddy up

How bout this cool Nugget, in soccer there are 4 classifications in PA.. for the the first time in history 8 teams From Our district is going to states, one in each clsssification for boys and girls .. strength of schedule 💁🏽*♀️


In our classification it?s North Catholic vs Bloomsburg area.. I obviously know nothing about Bloomsburg area since we?ve been in this classification this is the first time they?ve made a state final

I?ve said from the beginning of the year in this thread that us and North Catholic Elementary same District but the same conference and with only one team going to states from each district I said from the beginning of the year multiple times in this thread that one of the best teams in the state would be sitting at home and it?s shown.. so if they win we will have tied the state champions, lost because of a criminal elbow . And lost on a free kick.. .. we?re close .. next year guys watch out maybe you guys will be watching a state championship game with me involved
