Winner!!! 2-0.. they played a 4-5-1 essentially to combat our 3 midfielders . Was 0-0 at halftime and our freshman hit a absolute banger from 35 yards out upper corner .. she later added a PK?

State semis Tuesday! NC was winning 1-0 last i heard

Congrats Kid!! Solid second half performance. That freshman has a knack for those long shots. I think NC will change their defense some for the semi's. Going as planned. Nothing like beating NC again to get to the final. Enjoy the win!!

Bason,

I agree about NC changing up. There?s no way they can have the same game plan which gave us the entire middle of the field and took away outsides which i dont get at all. They gave us the most important part of the field where are best players are and strongest part of our team.. not sure why they had that strategy but no way they can do that again

I found a bad feed on Youtube so I got to see much of it.

You got the rematch. Good thing is that you do not have to travel, plus your girls should have the confidence now that they got over the hump beating NC. Should be a great game and hoping we get a good feed for this one.

Thanks bason!!

Just got word, game is Tuesday at north hills high school (lavar Arrington alma mater) at 6 pm.. can?t get any closer to us for a school than can handle this type of match. Only 10 mins down the road for us.. we should have tons of people there.. we were thinking north Allegheny would host us but they have boys games..

Can?t wait, it?s going to be tough beating such a good team 3 times in a row but that?s what we need to do and we?re good enough to do it !


I?ll post any feeds if so.. with it being at north hills and north Catholic there?s maybe a good chance the tribune review will have the match like the wpial final

One major issue with this field just looked at images.. the field is super narrow and 20 yards shorter in length.. wider fields for our possession based team style is way more conducive for us. Both teams have to play on it but def not a favorable field dimension
