WW It is a wager available at English outs.Believe Stan is in process of adding a golf wagering 101 to his site and he is very good at explaining english bets. Had lots of patience tutoring me on them past couple of years
I'll give it a go and if not clear maybe Stan or Ian can be more concise.
Outright & E/W (eachway)It is bet on individual to win tourney outright.
E/W is seperate bet that pays 1/4 odds of outright that player will finish in top 4 or 5 places(at most books).
Example: I wagered on Huston to win Sony outright @ 20/1 and also E/W. If he wins I get paid both 20/1 on outright and 1/4 that (5/1)on E/W. If he does not win but comes in 1st 5 places I get paid 5/1 on E/W wager.
3ball combo: Usually in 1st 2 rounds of tourney players go out it 3somes(3balls). The English let you bet on who will shoot best score out of the 3.So you are betting 1 player vs the other 2.If either player beats your choice you lose. The word combo is synonymus with are term parlay.
Example: on my 3ball combo above all selections must defeat their 2 playing partners for me to win.If any one loses I lose wager.Tough to hit them but as in parlays you are rewarded if you do.
