OMFG , Scott Smith knocked out Cung with 90 seconds to go after losing every round and fight 1 second short from being stopped :scared :scared :scared
hopefully this puts the cung le hype to rest....he gets a guy made to order for him...no grappling or ju jitsu...and le gets beaten at his own game.....
a total sham...he gets killed by most well-rounded top 20 mma fighters..

i think i was the first guy that said this Cung Lee was a fraud yet i didn't bet it uggh. I didn't see it but was that sickening hyper of an announcer hyping the shit out of him? I hope Lee faults ring rust so i can get a piece of his next fight.
i honestly didn`t think smith could do it....i figured he was in there to make cung(i never knew a guy named cung i could trust,btw)look good....
and he did...for 2.7 rounds....
i guess nobody gave smith`s heart enough consideration...including moi...
just watched it on dvd...and,didn`t le used to be in fantastic shape?....why do i remember him looking svelte and buff?...maybe i`m wrong...
but he looked fairly soft in there...
very happy for smith....he is a sort of mma rocky,ain`t he?...:toast:

I have only watched two Cung Le fights. He gassed in this one and got careless at the end. That being said, he is defintely not top 10 or even 15 worthy, especially now. He's old, fat, weak, and slow with zero ground game. He will be a good money-maker next time out. Bet against who ever he's fighting.

Yeah, I remember that one. I don't think Pete Sell was beating him as bad, I thought it was just the big shots at the end that had Smith doubled over.
Either way, he was getting dominated and found a way to win. Pretty cool.

I have been silly busy since Saturday so I have no been in here to comment.
I can't believe all the dumping on Cung Le. :shrug:
Sure his ground game is so so but we already knew that and he seems to have issues finishing fights and yes he may be a little over-rated but not top 10 over-rated. I have not seen him ranked in top 10 in 185 class so how is he over-rated.He was picking Smith apart to no end and Cung Le never tires.
One thing you can never say about Cung Le is that he is not entertaining.
As for so many guys in the top 20 that would smoke him.
That is a joke. He is too quick and has great striking which will always keep him in a fight. Sure he is not top 10 in 185 but he is far from exposed.
He got caught with a punch so how was he exposed in this fight??????
If by exposed you mean he has issues finishing a guy tough as nails then yes I guess he was exposed.
