:shrug: huh? He was majorly gassed, and that's the reason he go ktfo. If he didn't have 2 years of ring rust, and if he was in the same shape he was in his tilt with F. Shamrock, he would have never lost to Smith. He looked soft, and he gassed.

That said, Scott Smith is still awesome!

The layoff did make him look softer and he was gassing but he was still going forward and never stopped fighting unlike guys like Baroni,Tito, and Kimbo who gas and just stand there.
I gve Le credit for still throwing in the 3rd even if it was not the smart thing to do up so big on the cards.

true. I guess if he had any kind of ground game, the thing to do would have been to take Smith down and lay on him all round 3 (kinda like GSP alwas does).
