when i wake up and log on to party i wear a suit and tie.

stars i wear businness casual

full tilt i play completely naked

playing live i make sure not to shower for a week and then wear whatever is in the dirty clothes pile so i fit in

had two weddings back to back weekends. tux for one, suit with tie for the other. must be the only time since my wedding and an occassional funeral. daily i could never do it.

and i wouldn't buy insurance from that traveling salesman agent if he was in a suit or not.

Geez, where to start in this thread...

Jackson, thanks again for your business, I promise I was wearing a suit when you bought your policy :SIB

I think a shirt and tie without a coat looks terrible, and also non pressed pants, blah blah blah. I just hate to see someone half ass dressed up. To me it projects your attitude. If youre looking sharp like you care, then you likely feel that way, if you look like youre only dressed that way because its required then likely your attitude sucks. Business casual can look ok to me if you do it right but most dont. I HATE casual Friday and refuse to participate. Our office has a policy that you can wear jeans on Friday if you donate to a needy family pool we have, I donate but never wear jeans. Why should a client who I meet on Friday be treated any different than the rest? And "casual friday" is just that, nobody gets shit done. Why not just take the whole day off?

Im ranting, sorry..... :soapbox:

As for you BDB, I wouldnt play poker or bet a game with you, so THERE!

dad is a teacher, and he wears a tie every day to school, sometimes wears a coat with it. It's not the code for the school, that's just what he's always done.

I have to wear a uniform at my job, and I rarely wear a tie. The last time was at a funeral visitation. I wear dress casual to church as do most of the men that attend. When you're tall, it's hard to get ties tied the right length. Usually, I only have about an inch, maybe 2 on the backside of the knot.

Just like people used to "dress for dinner", what a great era that was. People actually cared about shit, that must have been really great. They even had front porches and family dinners. America sucks, but I love it and Im not going anywhere....

I thought you took every day off; at least half a day. :142smilie

Also have a good friend who is an attorney, mainly does estate law but also a little personal injury/work/comp, and defense. He always wears a suit and tie. My friends that are physicians wear ties but not suits/coats.

I dress in khaki shorts, short sleeve polo/golf shirt or logo T-Shirt, white ankle socks and Reebok (walkers) each of 4, 9 to 10 hour days. On my days off...shorts, T or Polo/Golf....and sandals...and I look damn good as well... :mj07: and comfortable ALL the time.... :142smilie

For me,

Suit and tie is everyday
Casual friday's for me I will forgo the coat and just wear a nice white shirt with a tie.

call me crazy, but it is just too easy to get sloppy and present a poor image of yourself if you are wearing biz casual... which slowly migrates into "casual" as the summer progresses.
