Bulls +2.5 (2 units)

Bulls +2.5 (2 units)

Game Six) Bulls v Cats, Loftus Versefeld
Bulls +2.5

Line based mainly on results from recent seasons _ hard for handicappers to make the perennial hapless Bulls faves. But they should be for this.
They have strengthened their squad off-season and finished last year with some form, beating the Blues at home and the Cats away (maybe the mouse was playing?).
The Cats, without Mains, have a host of crippling injuries and are barely recognisable from last year. Bulls should gain an edge up front and in front of their home fans on the high veldt can kick off the season with a rare win.

PLAY BULLS +2.5 (2 units)

(Game starts 17.5 hrs from post)

GLTA :)

Anyone still out there?

Season to Date: 0-5 (-7 units)

The worst weekend I can remember - 5 road teams covered against the spread. Guess which home team covered? That's right of course; the only one I wasn't on :violin:

Well, guess I should crawl under a rock for a long while....but I'm not going to. It's a long season, with NRL and AFL to come too, and "you have to learn to take the crunchy with the smooth I suppose"...

However, many apologies to any and all who followed these plays. There were some surprise results but I also made some fundamental 'capping errors - I'll do my darndest to make sure at least that doesn't happen again.

:nooo:

Anders,

I know you will be very disappointed with your start to the Super 12 but hang in there.

With your knowledge of the sport I am sure things will turn around as the season progresses. Just remember to stick to the same principals that have made you such a solid capper.

ANDERS, mate, sorry to hear about your weekend..
it'll get better... cripes, and you're right:

i can smell MARCH 28th (AFL) around the corner.

hmmmmmm....this'll be my first FULL season at AFL.

now where the hell are my notes from last year...???

AFL 2001 RECORD : 41-14 (75%) didn't keep track of units

I DID NOT BEAT AGAINST the SPREAD!!! Just simple moneylines (if i may use a simple capping term).....

aaaaahhhhh..memories of essendon, i'll NEVER forget july 22,2001
when essendon came back and beat the ROOS 171 - 159 in the biggest comeback in league history....

man, i think i had my house on that match.....

looking forward to "hanging out" with you guys again....

T-VIG.
